Talents like Scurry simply don't just come around too often. The '27 budding star can easily be the defending champ's variable x-factor this year. Payton's lustrous skillset make it easy to comfortably insert her into many different lineups due to her all-around game. The 2-way talent can be overwhelming for any perimeter opposing player. There isn't anything glaring that would hinder a successful year for Scurry, so she's in for a special season. She's adding to her game rapidly and with a little more consistent production on the offensive end, Payton can easily become a top 5 caliber of player in her class. The ceiling raising combo guard is without a doubt a key factor for an extremely talented St. George's team.

[player_tooltip player_id='480050' first='Olivia' last='White'] (2026) | 5'9 CG | St. Luke's

The transfer combo guard is coming into St. Luke's and can make an instant impact. The New York based guard brings that tenaciously relentless attitude to the court. The high motor junior has a strong frame that allows her to carve out space in the lane. She's not shy about embracing contact while on her way to the rim. White uses that strength to power her way through collisions that are met at the rim. Olivia also sports a solid jump shot. She shoots the ball off the dribble while maintaining a great rhythm with her handle. As a defender, White serves as an excellent adaptable perimeter match for any primary ballhandler. She seems to take head up matchups personally and shows a kosher competitive spirit. Look out for White this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='301050' first='Cortney' last='Howell'] (2026) | 6'0 Forward | St. Mark's

Cortney is a high functioning forward that leans on her athleticism to make an impression on both sides of the ball. She has the ability to hit a steady catch & shoot 3-pointer and also can push the pace for transition points. Defensively, Howell uses her sprinting ability to her advantage on the defensive end to get around post players for steals. She can also switch out on perimeter players in screen actions too. Cortney will be an important piece for a hungry St. Mark's squad.

[player_tooltip player_id='1051535' first='Alannah' last='Baehr'] (2027) | 6'1 CG/Wing | Suffield

A skilled multifaceted option that is long and agile. Baer has long strides, but quick feet that allow her to briskly get by defenders. She knows her angles and keeps her attacks relatively simple. Alannah can put the ball on the floor, but can also function as a catch & shoot player. Baehr has a goodlooking shot that she's able to hit with defenders crowding her. On defense, she gives her all and refuses to back down from the tough challenges. Alannah can serve many purposes defending on the wing, including having to take the task of covering the opposing team's better scorers from time to time. Her long arms really affect players attempting to function in the halfcourt. Overall, Baehr is a player with a ton of potential that Suffield will surely find themselves featuring heavily this season.

Emelia Pacheco-Hager (2025) | PF | Westminster School

Emelia is a robust forward that is an absolute monster on the glass. What stands out about Pacheco-Hager is her incredible speed playing a frontcourt position. Emelia blazes up the floor after snatching rebounds and can easily outrun opponents all the way to the rim. The speed simply can't be stressed enough. She also draws a lot of contact. Expect her get to the line by powering through defenders that crowd her around the rim. On defense Pacheco-Hager offers a solid backline protection. She deters a good number of shots any given game. Emelia can surely be an important piece for Westminster this season.

Skyler is a force to be reckoned with on the floor. She has brute strength that can overpower opponents effortlessly. Walker has a great post presence, but what's even more stately is her ability to pass out of the post. She finds shooters and cutters comfortably. Skyler also isn't afraid to repost when the time calls for it. When Walker isn't being fed from the block, she's fighting for position while she asserts herself for the best rebounding position. Defensively Skyler offers solid rim protection without being over reactionary. The 2026 big is in for a big year.
