The class of 2025 enters their senior season in a month. Numerous kids in that group who can play at the next level haven't announced a commitment. Today, I want to talk about a few kids that can help a program win games at the next that schools should take a look at.

Few guards can play with as much physicality as Gomez left in the 2025 class. The Kettle Moraine guard can withstand contact attacking the basket, which allowed her to finish around the rim well last season. Paired with that ability to finish around the rim, she shot 37% from the three-point line on about four attempts per game, playing a challenging schedule all season. Gomez should have plenty of options to play at the next level.

Few kids can let it rip from behind the three-point line to the level of this Somerset guard. [player_tooltip player_id='844279' first='Lucy' last='Nichols'] has the green light to shoot it whenever she has space, even if she's multiple feet behind the three-point line. Her role was to space the floor for Spartans, be the perimeter focal point of the offense, and create off the dribble for others, which she did well. Her junior year was her first season as a positive assist-to-turnover ratio guard and shot the ball in the mid-30 % range from the three-point line while taking 53 more than the second-placed kid on the team. She showed mental growth last season, and I expect that to continue.

The surprise of the Big Rivers was the emergence of Eau Claire North guard [player_tooltip player_id='767276' first='Elli' last='O'Keefe']. The Huskie seemed to thrive with a higher usage role and helped Eau Claire North compete against some of the top teams in the conference. O'Keefe did an excellent job being the focal point of the North offense and being a scorer and facilitator. I believe she ended the season as the second-leading scorer in the conference, which I didn't expect heading into last season. She can help a small school at the next level.

Post-players with a ready-made skillset are hard to come by, but there is something to Dahlquist's game. The Hamilton forward has a poise, which shows whenever she gets the ball with her back to the basket. She has a solid shooting touch and uses that to shoot over smaller matchups in the mid-post area and solid footwork to help her find open space around the basket to get shots up. Dahlquist may not be the most physically imposing post, but she has the footwork and poise that nullify size disadvantages.
