The class of 2025 enters their senior season in a month. Numerous kids in that group who can play at the next level haven't announced a commitment. Today, I want to talk about a few kids that can help a program win games at the next that schools should take a look at.

In D3, Schauer may have been the most intriguing breakout of the state tournament. Had it not been for her offense in the first half of the title game, there are a few worlds where Edgewood could chip away at the Xavier lead, but that is the tip of the iceberg when it comes to her game. The 5'10 wing does anything her team needs her to do to help them win games. She can defend on the perimeter, rebound, score, defend multiple positions, and pass. You may see her play the opposite role that she played three days beforehand. She can slot into any role in any game and find success.

The one kid I feel always thrives when I watch her play on streams is [player_tooltip player_id='767283' first='Brooklynn' last='Birt']. The 5'10 forward has a nose for the ball and is a consistent double-double threat for Menomonie. The Mustang has also shown an ability to step out and knock down perimeter shots enough for opposing teams to respect her back there. She has an excellent motor and loves to find her way to loose balls. She's not a prototypical type of forward, but she makes it work.

One of the names I've liked is Wisconsin Lutheran guard [player_tooltip player_id='828946' first='Kenly' last='Frey']. The Viking isn't necessarily the most gifted kid on the floor on her team, but she's usually the most responsible. The 5'5 guard seldom makes mistakes with the ball and keeps the offense moving. She shot over 50% from the field and was north of 80% at the free-throw line. She finds ways to punish defenses and takes the path of least resistance. Frey doesn't ever try to do anything that's not part of her game, which means she always stays within herself. I wouldn't be surprised if all her coaches loved her because she's everything coaches want in lead guards.

There's nothing flashy about what Wolfe does. She's a fundamentally sound post that teams can operate with. The 6'0 Hudson native is a physical kid who can hold her position around the rim and finish with either hand around the basket. Nothing seems forced on her, and she takes what the defense gives her. Wolfe doesn't demand the ball on the block and is willing to run around and set a bunch of screens each possession. From the outside looking in, she's as selfless of a kid as you'll find and is willing to do anything to compete.
