She's one of the few post players that loves to play with her back to the basket, while still having the skill set to face up from 14 feet or pop out for a 3-pointer. Defensively, she uses her length to control the paint, where her mere presence can turn away the other team's players. She's primed to have a breakout year in rebounding as well.
PGHD: Who are a few of your top players to look out for?

"For starters, we have a guard-post combo that has the potential to be one of the best in the State. It's important that Nevaeh and Annabel continue to build chemistry to play effectively off of and with each other. Though those two comprise the bulk of our returning scoring, we have many players who are going to fill critical roles for the Titans this season. Bella is a do-it-all athlete who has yet to realize how good she can be. Elly is an All-Region caliber player solely because of her defense. Our leading JV scorer from last season, freshman Kambree Fleck, is nursing a knee injury and will likely miss this season. Right behind her were juniors [player_tooltip player_id='1052990' first='Hali' last='Henke'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1052992' first='Elizabeth' last='Schneider'], both of whom have a chance to play a big role in this year's team."

PGHD: Who are a couple of your top shooters?

"This discussion definitely starts with [player_tooltip player_id='412033' first='Annabel' last='Scheeler'], who is one of the best shooters in the state and one of the top returning 3-point shooters with 56 made last season. We expect Annabel to make more than 35% of her three-point attempts this season after shooting 34% as a freshman and 30% last season. Her tremendous form and quick release are something to behold. Beyond Annabel, [player_tooltip player_id='1052902' first='Elly' last='McAvoy'] can shoot the rock and needs to get more shots up in games this season. Bella Kovash is also a great shooter. But don't sleep on [player_tooltip player_id='1052990' first='Hali' last='Henke'], as she's beaten her coach in every shooting competition they have, and her coach is a pretty good shooter!"

PGHD: Who are some of the top teams & players in your Region?

"I think that, until someone proves otherwise, Shiloh Christian is the team to beat in Region 4. [player_tooltip player_id='1051216' first='Emma' last='Duffy'] is a tremendous point guard who makes great decisions, distributes the ball well, and is an underrated shooter. [player_tooltip player_id='1051229' first='Betsy' last='Hatlestad'] is a player that every coach in the state would love to have on their team. Not only is she very productive on both ends of the court, she does the little things that help their team."

"Hazen, led by their dynamic duo of [player_tooltip player_id='1051389' first='Lauren' last='Doll'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1052973' first='Macey' last='Van Inwagen'] will also be a threat in Region 4. Doll is a top-notch defender and one of the better ball handlers in the state. VanInwagen is a strong guard who has a broad skill set. [player_tooltip player_id='1052988' first='Macee' last='Smith'] is an undersized post who plays like she's a foot taller than she actually is and is a phenomenal rebounder."

"Watford City was a State Tournament team last season who graduated only two players. [player_tooltip player_id='379966' first='Bailey' last='Mattson'], Ady Schaff, and Fallon Sampsel are three players we'll work to minimize their production."

[player_tooltip player_id='1052989' first='Mickellyn' last='Walker'] from Killdeer is one of the top scorers in Class A and is also productive on the boards. As a 6' guard who can shoot from 24 feet, she's a matchup problem for pretty much every team.
