More Breakout Players on the Horizon

In this article, we highlight some of the players in the State of Florida who are primed for a breakout season. Many of these players played a backup role, was a Freshman last season, or just through attrition; the time has come for these players to take on more of an important role for their team. Each of the following player is primed for a "break-out" season.    [player_tooltip player_id='219956' first='Jaeden' last='Williams'] is a player who has played on the big stage, played at the highest level in travel ball, and has always been solid. Williams is a player who is always around the ball and making plays, and with her Senior year now here, she is poised for a special season. Williams pushes the pace and can get the ball to all of her weapons, and she can score as well. She has the ability and the selfless approach to double her output in assists, and she can also score the ball. Williams averaged 7.6 points per game, and a double-digit average is highly probable this season. Her team is equipped to go all the way, and Williams will play a major part. She is poised for a breakout.     [player_tooltip player_id='514527' first='Arianna' last='Walker'] is ready for a breakout season, and she has all the attributes to make it happen. Walker is athletic and has elite speed on the floor. It translates on the defensive end, and she is a problem for opposing teams. Offensively, she is good at attacking the rim and scoring in transition. Walker is also very good at getting the ball to her playmakers. Walker will do what it takes to win. She is poised for a breakout season.     [player_tooltip player_id='428053' first='Ronnice' last='Berry'] showed a lot of versatility over the summer, playing in at least 4 positions. Berry brings an athletic element to the game and can make plays all over the court - on both ends of the floor. Offensively, she can mix it up on the inside, playing at the four and scoring on the inside. Berry really stood out over the season at the FABC Showcase, playing at the point position. Berry shot the three very well and also did a good job of handling the ball and getting her team into their offensive sets. Berry averaged 5.0 points per game and 4.3 rebounds per game on a State Championship team last season. With the ball in her hand a lot more this season, she is poised for a double-digit scoring average and en route to a breakout season.     [player_tooltip player_id='248555' first='Trista' last='Brown'] is ready for a special season. She has had success from the scoring standpoint, but she is poised to break out and lead this season. Brown can score the ball from all over the court, and especially from the three-point line. She is very good in transition and does a good job of putting the defender on her back and scoring in the midrange. Brown is a tough-nosed player on the court and she is one of the keys to a special season at Ribnault. She is poised for a breakout season.     [player_tooltip player_id='521332' first='Hallie' last='Stokes'] is ready for a breakout season after averaging 2.8 points per game and 14 threes last season. Stokes stood out this past summer at the FABC Showcase with her three-point shooting. She was one of the most efficient three-point shooters at the event. Stokes also played well at the PGH Showcase last year. She showed good ball-handling skills and a nice shooting touch. She is poised for a breakout year.     [player_tooltip player_id='515064' first='Kathleen' last='Crawley'] had a very nice Freshman season and put up some respectable numbers while playing her role behind some dominant players last season. Even in a backup role, Crawley knocked down 33 threes and averaged 7.5 points per game. Crawley showed a more versatile game over the summer in travel ball. Crawley can handle the ball, rebound on the inside, get to the rim, and consistently shoot the three-ball. The versatile Crawley enters her Sophomore season as one of the top shooters and scorers on her team. She is primed for a breakout season.
