Torrence did not wait until her senior season commenced to announce her commitment. Prior to the start of the 2023-24 season, the Winston Salem Christian product declared her intent to head to the ACC – Boston College to be exact. Torrence is transferring to Winston Salem Christian from High Point Christian. In 2023-24, she led the Cougars to a 22-5 record (8-2 in its NCISAA Piedmont conference) while averaging 15.8 points, 9.2 rebounds, 3.3 steals and 2.1 assists per contest. The three forward is looking to translate her final spring and summer with Elevate Elite into a strong close of her high school career with her new team.

We at Prep Girls Hoops have become extremely familiar with [player_tooltip player_id='412215' first='Icyss' last='Storm'] over the years. After establishing herself as one of the cornerstones of the girls program at Grace Christian, Storm has taken her talents to NC GBB Academy for her senior season. Her AAU career over the years has included stints with the [program_tooltip program_id='713578' first='Lady' last='Strong']/Strong Center program as well as this past spring and summer with [program_tooltip program_id='714756' first='Carolina' last='All-Stars']. Last season she averaged 14.5 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.8 steals at Grace Christian. Storm holds several offers – including Furman, South Carolina State, Tennessee State, UNC-Wilmington, Winthrop, North Carolina A&T, Charleston Southern and William & Mary.

Last season's Green Hope rendition had its season conclude in the first round of the 4A playoffs at the hands of eventual champion Rolesville. Brown took to the court on 22 occasions in the 2023-24 season while averaging a double-double of 16.4 points and 12.2 rebounds. She also was one of two team captains from last season's Falcons rendition. Typically, Brown is more of a three forward but can also give a team a strong presence as a wing. Once this season has completed, the Carolina Waves AAU product will look forward to her collegiate career which will take her to Lenoir-Rhyne University.

We mentioned earlier how [player_tooltip player_id='412215' first='Icyss' last='Storm'] played this past AAU season with [program_tooltip program_id='714756' first='Carolina' last='All-Stars']. Zimmerman has been a mainstay with the club program and is entering into her final season with NC GBB where she will have Storm as a teammate. Zimmerman recently landed her first Division I offer as Western Carolina has her on its radar. She has also been a NC GBB mainstay as she first played for the program since the eighth grade. Between her exceptional rebounding, ability to run the floor as a post player and all-around leadership skills, Zimmerman is poised to finish her high school career with an exclamation point and those attributes will serve her well at the next level.
