The Future is Bright for the Lady Badgers in 5A Central Arkansas

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Dr. Nail, Superintendent for Beebe Schools said after the 23-24 Beebe Lady Badgers loss in the 5A Central playoffs to Searcy that "The future is bright for the Lady Badgers"! Recent articles on <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='848699' first='Bailey' last='Barton']</strong> and as of yesterday, <strong>Lexi Owens</strong> proves this team has talent and gaining much attention. This article was in the making after the article " <strong>Underrated Prospects in Arkansas Who Are Taking Over Twitter</strong>". Finding footage on other talent like <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1093259' first='Deija' last='Lockhart']</strong>, <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='885045' first='Shiloh' last='Gomez']</strong>, and<strong> Hannah Johnson</strong> was amazing to watch and these three deserve to be noticed. Beebe Lady Badgers were 4th in 5A Central Arkansas with a 9-4 record in conference and finishing 15-13 overall. They are coached by Jordan Riley and look to improve on last year's success with these featured prospects of this article. She'll be a key piece for Coach Riley this year and will be a great role player. The senior will most likely sub in for<strong> Lexi Owens</strong> or maybe a starter. A strong work ethic and shooting rhythm will eventually be apart this 5'9 forward. This outstanding right-hand pitcher is very talented and playing center for Beebe her senior year will add much needed length and depth in the paint. Ritchie has size, power, and speed that will complement their run in 5A Central Arkansas. The 5'10 center will likely come off the bench but will see significant time on the court. In 24-25, Addison will play well being a dual sport player. With teammates like<strong> [player_tooltip player_id='848699' first='Bailey' last='Barton']</strong> who can score at will, one can tell that she absorbs the talent around her. Gomez can shoot the 3 from deep and knocked down quite a few last year for Coach Riley! Defensively she can hedge driving players and closes out on shooters very well. Her length and on ball "D" aggravates guards in press situations and it forced turnovers for the "Lady Badgers" last year. The sophomore can drive to rim as well and can contain contact when in there. Deija really impressed me in the footage that I've gathered for this article. She carries a solid frame, and good footwork. This raw talent still has plenty of opportunity to grow under a great program. Played varsity as an 8th grader, and as a freshman was key to the "Lady Badgers" success! She was 5A All Conference as a freshman! #4 can dribble coast to coast and crossover defenders enroute to a finish at the rim! Be on the lookout for this one, as she can do it all. Shoots 3's and creates her own shot. Lockhart sets solid picks that compliment<strong> Baily Barton</strong> shooting the 3. A complete player who already caught the eye of Central Baptist College and several other programs. As the most talented on this list this senior has something to prove! #12 received 5A All-State honors as well as a 5A Central All Conference nod for the 'Lady Badgers" in 23-24. Johnson goes for 50/50 balls increasing opportunities for Beebe and is a flat-out scorer! She has great dribbling and in transition plus she's difficult to stop. Her overhand cross is tight, and she is strong with either hand. She has a good work ethic, and a natural jump shot. Coach Riley will be entering his 2nd season as head coach and has his sights on a championship run for this 24-25 season.
