An incredibly dynamic point guard that is a high usage player. She can be productive is high pace games or even slow the tempo down to perform in halfcourt sets. The shot-creator makes head turning plays on a consistent basis. Alvarez's has also added on strength to her frame over the offseason which should only take the 3-level scoring capability she already has to another level. The young Winchendon guard has all the qualities of a top tier competitor. She competes on the defensive end and is a natural leader on the floor, not only by her dominate presence, but her downright thoroughness within her game. The '27 bubbling star is certainly one that'll remain on the radar.

[player_tooltip player_id='341008' first='Gabby' last='Middleton'] (2027) | 5'8 SF | Newman School

The #1 ranked player at her position and #3 overall, Middleton is a matchup nightmare. Super-efficient within the halfcourt with her timely passes plus the elite playmaking off the dribble. Her crafty ballhandling is special and makes her menacing in isolation possessions. She's able to get to her spots with ease, no matter the caliber of defender on her. Gabby is used to playing with other elite talent, so her game is tailored to getting others involved too. The defense is commendable coming from an offensive juggernaut such as herself. She uses her brawny physique to standup against all types of forwards and that previously mentioned strength is used to overwhelm weak ballhandlers. When on a guard, she's likely to get them to completely turn their bodies when she is crowding them. Middleton is a high-level player that's getting tons of attention. She's in new threads this year playing with Newman. Theres's no question she's a player to watch this season. Gabby has been one of the best in the class for years and that looks to stay true for the remainder of her high school career with her ever evolving game.

[player_tooltip player_id='967969' first='Ryanne' last='Sheehan'] (2027) | 5'7 PG | St. Andrew's

Ryanne is a promising point guard with a high ceiling. Sheehan has a game that's well-suited for winning basketball. She's coming into the new year after an AAU season where she had some major developments in her game. Ryanne's momentum should help propel her straight into success from an early start. She's a sniper from beyond the arc, but unlike typical shooters, Ryanne is an exceptional playmaker too. She possesses great court awareness and her decisive judgment skills help teammates get easy baskets. An underrated passer that gets her teammates the ball on time. Sheehan can be a great facilitator in the halfcourt, but she loves to play in up-tempo settings. The speedy pg can be very harmful to opponents in transition with her threat to pull up plus her blazing speed with the ball. Ryanne doesn't need much to get going and that makes her threat at all times. The St. Andrew's guard is an excellent talent that's carving her distinguished game.

[player_tooltip player_id='341006' first='Sadie' last='Metzger'] (2027) | 5'10 SG | Worcester Academy

Sadie is a controlled guard that is well-grounded and whose game is flattering to pass-first point guards. Sadie has a reliable outside shot that has great range. Metzger also dives hard to the basket when defenders lose sight of her. She can catch the ball over either shoulder. Sadie also has no problem constructing unique angles to score in the lane. She has a signature scoop layup that she swears by when defenders are piled in her way. As a defender herself, she's able to stay in front of handful of guards and forwards with her longer frame. The length Sadie has is a plus for the team defense aspect. She's able to be in better help-side position to be able to better assist teammates on the weak or strongside of the floor. Worcester is a talented squad; Sadie is another stellar addition to the lineup that is a certain variable.

The 6'0 Knight offers immense versatility with a game that's awfully influentially to team success and high-level basketball. Knight is a do-it-all type of player that has many facets to her game. Zoe is a 2-way player with unbelievable upside. The athleticism is the first thing that stands out. She's remarkably fast and has a long wingspan, so she's a prospect that's striking on the initial glance. Off the dribble, Knight is viscous attacking closeouts. There aren't too many better in her class that can get all the way to the basket with limited resistance. The long strides allow her to get the preliminary defenders on her hip and stretches beyond the backline of the defense altogether. On the other side of the ball, Knight can cancel out opposing team's better perimeter players. She makes it tough for players out there. Knight has no problem picking up players in transition and stopping the primary threat. Not one possession is taken off from Zoe. She ignites the team's energy with her outstanding blocks and timely steals. The defense can be counted upon no matter what the offense looks like. She turns broken plays that into fast breaks that can get her some easy points. Knight will be under watch this season. She can certainly be one of the year's top stock risers.
