[player_tooltip player_id='987550' first='Lusine' last='Hagopian'] (2025) | 5'7 CG | North Providence

Lusine is one of RI's most prolific combo guard talents. The North Providence senior is a high-usage player that's coming into the season as the team's top option. Hagopian is a tremendous playmaker that will elevate her teammates in crucial moments. She's scrappy on both sides of the floor and her winning attitude will lift the team. Certainly, Hagopian has the talent to warrant her a top 50 ranking. Lusine is definitely a bit underrated and schools should keep their eyes out for her.

[player_tooltip player_id='481360' first='Jaelynn' last='Perez'] (2026) | 5'8 PG | Moses Brown

Jaelynn is a player with instinctual values while offering versatility running the point. She's a great distributor that leads to winning basketball. She doesn't always get credit for the plays she's able to help construct. Perez is the type of player that gets a lot of "hockey assists". A very functional facilitator that makes the right reads, regardless of the level of defense. Jaelynn plays at her pace and is rarely ever put in positions where she's flustered. The under-controlled point is a great option as a floor general for a talented Moses Brown team that's looking to have another statement year.

What a potent scorer Buco is. She adds fundamental floor spacing out on the perimeter and is liable to have a major scoring output on any given night. Kyla has one of the best pure shots in the state, no matter the class. She also puts the ball on the floor fairly well for such an exceptional shooter. Buco maintains great court vision while attacking primary defenders that are closing out. Currently the #44 ranked player in the class, she can surely be a stock riser this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='922619' first='Delaney' last='Bonneau'] (2027) | 5'10 Narragansett

The Narragansett sophomore is coming into the season after having great momentum from a productive AAU season with BCRI. She's an unreal deep-3 threat that also sports a creative handle in traffic. Delaney operates well as a shooter or a secondary ballhandler. The 5'10 guard has the tools needed to become a prime star in the RIIL. Bonneau's long and athletic build make her a matchup terror. She has upper-class agility that allows her to get the edge on opponents while turning the corner. Delaney has all the intangibles a topnotch player has. This is undoubtedly a budding star with a high ceiling.

[player_tooltip player_id='278585' first='Tiyara' last='Gonzalez'] (2026) | 5'0 PG | St. Raphael Academy

Don't be misled by Tiyara's height, the junior point guard is a prominent figure in the area's basketball scene. Gonzalez is a high-powered playmaker that plays vigorously between the lines until the whistle blows. The mighty Gonzalez plays at an upbeat pace, but she's also able to facilitate when things slow down. She knows how to play with big time scorers while also remaining a scoring threat herself. Tiyara is a dominate ballhandler that can freely move around the floor. Her tenacious attitude suits her well on both sides of the floor. She's a feisty defender that tends to make plays on the ball to get out in transition. Gonzalez is starting to get some recognition from schools after a stellar offseason. Keep an eye peeled for her this season at St. Raphael Academy where she'll be a primary feature.
