George Lynch Invitational: Stellar Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><br>Phenom Hoops hosted their George Lynch Invitational last weekend where some of the top teams in the state came to compete.  I was able to catch the girls' games on Saturday of the event.  Let's take a look at the standouts from the competition.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block off her range shooting it from anywhere around the perimeter.  She was making smart decisions knowing when to put up her shot or fake and drive around.  She did a nice job with her jump stops pulling up for two.  Off the dribble, she was making nice cuts to the basket being ready to shoot off the pass as she flashed in the paint.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- ball handling to create some space and pull up for her jumpers.  She definitely isn't going to stop after hitting her 150th three pointer as she continued that on Saturday.  She does it all for her some nice plays jumping into passing lanes grabbing steals, and she hustled back on defense making sure her opponents didn't have an easy path to some points.  She showed off her range shooting, and she didn't back down from driving hard to the rim.  She did a nice job using some jab steps to create space and attack the paint.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- tough defender going up high to grab the steal, and she can knock it out of the way of her opponents as they try to dribble by her.  On offense, she attacks the basket and uses power dribbles on the block to get to where she wants to go.  She hustles back on defense even blocking shots on fast breaks.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block some life to her team in the second half hitting an old fashioned three point play on a tough take to the rim.  She also had some nice cuts to the basket scoring off the pass, and she was making some continues to prove how dynamic she is as a player making some nice fakes to open up the floor for her and make her shot.  She was knocking them down from around the perimeter with ease, and she uses her height at the top of her team's defense to cause some problems for her opponents.  She was certainly making some tough buckets off her own ball handling.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!--
