After a slow start against a face guard, the Emmanuel-commit broke out in the third quarter with 11 points to spring Oconee County ahead, gaining separation and not looking back in a 72-55 win. Azeltine's aggressive style of play filled up the box score. Her defense started things, playing centerfield in the diamond press, picking off passes showcasing her athleticism and instincts. Julie excels at playing off the ball on offense, loving to read defenders and cut backdoor. When left open for threes, Julie seemingly always delivers a big blow from distance. Julie doesn't force things on offense and is a heady passer that kicks to the open man. She went down with a knee bruise and later an ankle injury that knocked her out of the game in the fourth quarter, but Azeltine managed to file away 21 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists, 6 steals and 1 block.

Eliza set the tone early with her playmaking and outside shooting. She thrived at getting downhill with her right hand and impressively saw the floor while doing so. Oechsle made right read after right read as she drove and kick to open shooters. Eliza netted three threes and hit a mid-range pull-up, part of her 15 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 3 steals. Oechsle is rapidly starting to ascend the 2027 ranks.

Jill loves to hunt her jump shot. Daniel shoots it off one-dribble pull-ups from the mid-range and off the catch from deep. Her nose for the ball in the full court press led to easy steals and layups. Daniel is one of the most improved players on the team, giving the Warriors a legit third scoring option this season. Jill tallied 14 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists and 8 steals.

Every good team needs a glue-guy to do the dirty work. While Lydia can score the ball and likely would get more opportunities on lesser teams, her focus with the Warriors is to make plays that don't show up in the box score but lead to wins. Lydia crashes the glass hard, a very good rebounder for her size. She's a strong defender that can guard multiple positions and bigger players. Gay went 6-8 from the foul line to finish with 6 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 3 steals.

After a few tough misses inside, Lydia kept her head in the game instead of sulking and the results began to appear as she had a dominant second quarter that helped Jackson County hang tight with Oconee County. Wolfe scored eight points in the frame, scoring on a hook shot, running the floor for a post up, a putback and using a spin move. Lydia utilized up-and-under moves to get clean looks at the basket. She patiently used her footwork showcasing countermoves to get her defender in tough positions. Wolfe finished with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 1 steal. Agnes Scott has offered.

The freshman nearly double-doubled in her first regular season start, posting 11 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals and 1 block. Drucker was aggressive looking for her offense, letting it fly from the perimeter. She will need to continue to improve her court awareness and take mid-range jumpers or threes instead of long twos with her feet on the line, but Madelyn was very effective in her first game, logging major minutes helping the Panthers try to advance the ball against a ballhawking Oconee press.

Before injuring her ankle, Harkins got hot in the second half with 11 points. She went in attack mode after a scoreless first half due to foul trouble, netting a corner three, a baseline floater, a mid-range pull-up and sinking all four free throws. Harkins' three-level scoring is a major boon for the Panthers along with her active defense which resulted in 3 steals.
