Preseason Preview: Class 1A Preseason All-State

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Even though Classes B and C have begun their season, we are still two weeks away from the larger classifications beginning. Class 1A is the smallest of those bigger classes but has some of the most competitive basketball. The preseason members of the all-state team are high level competitors on the hardwood. She is also one of the state's best in transition. <strong> [player_tooltip player_id='489564' first='Taylor' last='Barnaba'] </strong>can change a game with her defense. Her ball pressure creates extra possessions which helped JS Clark win a state title last season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='961327' first='Cambrieion' last='Link']</strong> may be the best point guard in the class. She can score at three levels and knows how to find her teammates in scoring situations. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='943314' first='DeAsia' last='Alexander']</strong> and her versatility played a big role in Arcadia winning a state title last season. She can play both ends of the floor while scoring almost at will. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='668604' first='Jade' last='Oliney']</strong> plays an aggressive style of offense. She can change the tempo of a game instantly. <strong> [player_tooltip player_id='1094060' first='Maddie' last='Carey']</strong> may be the best shooter in class 1A. Her ability to spot up, along with her defense, is an impressive combination. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='668599' first='Layla' last='Tell'] </strong>is a double-double waiting to happen. Her mid-range game and her ability to handle make her a threat as well. <strong>Lanetta Hill</strong> can give guards fits with her man-to-man defense. She can also make the open three to stretch defenses. <strong>Kelsey Robinson </strong>is the definition of a two-way player. She is an above average defender who can score multiple ways offensively.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Class 1A should be exciting all season with the guard play that multiple teams have in this classification. This preseason team is an example of that.
