Ranking Updates: November Will Be A Month To Remember

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>First off, thanks to the Prep Girls Hoops Kansas subscribers for being patient during our transition.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As reported last month Robert Kelly will be taking on a smaller role with PGH and I am taking over as lead scout and will now be in charge of the rankings in Kansas.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I just returned from an awesome vacation, but put in some serious work in October to add more players to the rankings and to shift some players around.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The first set of rankings is scheduled to be updated on November 5. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here is a look at four prospects moving up in the rankings when their respective classes are published. I was impressed with her speed and defense when I saw her play last season. She averaged 9.9 points and 6.9 rebounds for St. James last season. She should be surprised by the movement she will make in the rankings. The numbers don't lie with this talent. She averaged a double-double per game as a sophomore, and finished with totals of 23.8 points and 10 rebounds per contest. I know she plays out west and does not get the exposure to scouts and college coaches as other big school teams. A southeast Kansas youngster to keep an eye on is Labette County's Fiscus. Labette County has been a winning program recently and qualified for the State Tournament a year ago. It will be interesting to see what kind of impact Fiscus has in her first year of high school ball.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
