Webb Lady Feet: Ready to Reclaim Their State Title

Danger. Dominate . Dynasty. The Lady Feet from Webb Bell Buckle have been oncoming down doors and taking names for sometime now. Last year, they moved up and played Dll-AA, finishing 15-11 overall and posting a 4-2 district record, finishing 3rd. Though it was in a different division, they did have a Final 4 finish. Now, they return to Dll-A, where they have dominated over the years winning 3 state titles in the last five years.   The Webb Lady  Feet have created a culture of excellence and winning. Girls who have come from this program have gone on to play big time basketball at the next level. This year, this team is loaded with talent and they are ready to reclaim their dominance in the single A division as they have moved back down. Some may hate the move. Some may like it. Call it what you may. You still have to play the game and Webb is used to getting everyone's best game. This will be an interesting year for the Lady Feet as they get back to playing familiar foes.   Webb will be heavy favorites this year to win the district, however state won't be as easy as in years past . The landscape overall has gotten better, however I truly believe Webb has the horses to do so. They have a balanced attack, talented girls who have multiple ways of scoring the basketball, and they play tenacious defense. This team has the size and build of a college program. I expect them to come out and be physical early and often.   Here are some young ladies who will be competing for the Lady Feet of Webb Bell Buckle.    The Ohio state commit is one of the most decorated international players to play within this state. This kid is tough and she can light up the score board like no other. She has an impressive shooting style, where she will unleash it from multiple spots on the floor. Her length is a problem as she gets her hands on the ball. Steals, deflections, rebounds. This kid can play 1-5. A sensational talent that will showcase her skills nightly as she looks to reclaim the title in the Single A division.     A super talented kid who continues to get better. If you don't know, she was giving teams fits as an 8th grader. Now a freshman, she will look to do the same. A physical kid who thrives inside the arc. The mid-range game and the low blocks is where she makes her money. She can play with her back to the basket or face up. Just know she has a bag and plenty of counter moves to go along with it. She's strong, she's physical , and she makes life h-e- double hockey sticks for opponents. Crazy thing is, she did the same on the EYBL circuit as well. Top notch kid who will be inflicting pain on teams this upcoming year. Power 4 talent that will be getting more offers this upcoming year.     young talent that will be a major factor for this Lady Feet ball club. Only an 8th great, she possesses size and speed and can score it from all 3 levels. She is poised with the ball in her hands. Confident as she shoots it from multiple spots on the floor. Plays tenacious defense that leads to turnovers that equate to easy buckets. Fan? Absolutely. This kid plays hard and she leaves nothing to chance on each possession. One of the best in her class, she will be creating waves around here for a few years moving forward. Look for her to be one of the next top kids to come from the program.     Solid kid who knows her role and does it at a consistent clip. She's a workhorse who doesn't get the publicity, however she is like the glue girl that keeps it all together. Yes she can score from multiple spots, but with incredible court awareness , she knows who has the hot hand and can deliver it at a consistent rate. She's a poised floor general. Doesn't get rattled . She shows up, does her work, and just competes. A talented kid who leaves everything out on the floor.     An interesting prospect who is going to be a monster one day. She has size, moves real well, and once she gets a hang of the speed and physicality of the game, she is going to be hard to handle on the interior. She's only an 8th grader, but I expect her to come in to learn and contribute this year. When it clicks , this young lady is going to be a beast.    Webb will be heavy favorites to win it all. They have veteran leadership that has experience and the youth that will come in and contribute right away. Looking at the roster, technically this squad is young, but super talented. This squad is going to be fun to watch. They are athletic, fundamentally sound, and will compete from tip to the final horn. This program is built to compete this year and for years to come.
