We briefly highlighted [player_tooltip player_id='641977' first='Grace' last='Fincham'] prior to the tip off of this season because of her mismatch ability in 1v1 situations. In West's first contest of the Winter, Fincham went crazy. She dominated in every facet of the game. She had a game high 32 points on 16/18 shooting, including going 1/2 from three point range and 1/2 from the free throw line. She also recorded 6 rebounds, 5 steals, and 2 blocks in her efforts. This is definitely up there for performance of the week in my book. When you account for this monster stat line and that her team won by 15 against a well versed opponent like Solon, you start to understand that this game might be up for performance of the season by the end of the year but we are still a long ways away from that.

There is a lot of questions that I need answered by [player_tooltip player_id='883552' first='Braylyn' last='Birmingham'] this Winter at the Varsity level. Birmingham is coming off of a very exciting AAU season, where she received some collegiate interest from some well known programs. In Braylyn's second game of the season, she had a team high 22 points on 8/11 shooting, while going 6/7 from the line. This season for Norwalk they have a ton of options offensively so if Braylyn is going to end up being one of their team leaders in scoring, I'll be impressed. It seems to be that way so far through two games as she is averaging 13 PPG on the season but there is still 20+ games left, where anything can happen. No matter what though. I think that this is someone who is going to put together a very successful high school career when we look back at things in five + years.

Woodward-Granger High School has started off their season 2-0 with two very impactful victories under their belt. On Tuesday night they recorded a victory against Greene County by a final of 65-17. In this victory their leader was [player_tooltip player_id='1091081' first='Addie' last='Lego']. Lego stands at 5'9 and she really dominated near the painted area. She is one that isn't afraid to step out and shoot the three ball but she really thrives more when she has opportunities near the rim. That's been obvious so far this season. At the final buzzer she ended things with a game high 16 points (6/12). Scoring all of her buckets from two point land or the free throw line (4/5). This is a respectable start for both Lego and Woodward-Granger. If they stay on this trajectory, they aren't going to lose many times this Winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='832196' first='Graclyn' last='Eastman'] started off her Sophomore campaign on fire on Tuesday evening, single handedly outscoring the opposing team by herself by 10 points. Eastman finished with a combined 30 Points on the contest on 11/16 shooting, including going 100% from the free throw stripe at 6/6. Not only did Eastman kill it, her team absolutely dominated in their 78-20 victory. As a whole this team demonstrated that they understand what it means to play team basketball. If they can continue on their trend and they keep getting Eastman into favorable positions on both sides of the floor, then who knows how far they could take things before this season comes to a close.

North Linn High School is going to be a program to watch out for this Winter. They will have a few returning producers but I think they will be trying to find more production at the same time from some new faces. Someone that did a great job with her opportunity early on in their first official contest was [player_tooltip player_id='1091086' first='Mackenzie' last='Bridgewater']. Bridgewater tailed up 14 points in her team's 61-33 victory against Springville. This might not of led the game or even her own team but I think it's important to note that Bridgewater should be able to build on this positive success. If she can be a prominent #2 behind [player_tooltip player_id='311393' first='Molly' last='Boge'] for the Lynx, they are going to like how their season goes in the grand scheme of things.
