When you face off against Birmingham your entire effort as a team has to go into stopping her from producing on both ends on every single possession. That can take a lot out of you as an individual and as a team. Especially if your efforts aren’t really working the best. If you are looking for a 6’0 PG that can attack, score, run offense, defend, and lead a team then you are looking for a prospect just like Birmingham. Someone that can change a contest on the drop of a dime. At the end of the day, she is going to be a D1 commit. Now it’s just about finding out where at exactly.

and the Winter she just put together as a whole. Sometimes prospects have a thing called a Sophomore slump, where they don’t play as well as they did as a Freshman for their Sophomore season but that’s not the case here. If anything, Birmingham was even better as a Sophomore. In the off-season leading up to this past Winter this was someone who lived in gym. She ate, slept, dreamed, and breathed hoops and that determination is helping her progress into one hell of a player. I know there are a lot of D2 coaches out there who think they can snag Birmingham because her older sister is killing it at that level right now but Braylyn is D1. All day, twice on Sundays and if she keeps getting better in her off-time, who knows how far she will be able to take things. You have to remember that we are talking about a 6’0 PG, that can score, create, and facilitate better than most at the high school level right now so her possibilities are endless.

around for her collegiate career. She is a proven D1 prospect with length, skill, and a high ceiling as it pertains to her future. This is someone that is very good at everything across the board when it comes to her skillsets. She might be young but she has every trick in her bag that she can pull out in the blink of an eye while adapting to any situation. Birmingham got onto the floor and went right to work last week. She led her team to some extremely exciting contests, always being the offensive and defensive threat for her Norwalk group. She impressed every coach in attendance and I’m sure that is going to lead to some offers this Spring on the road with her EYBL program.

of Norwalk is as good as advertised. A D1 level prospects with length, crafty ability offensively, and natural instincts on both offense and defense. Slowing down Birmingham is tough enough, stopping her completely is almost impossible for any team and we saw that today in their Round 1 matchup against Central DeWitt. BB was running the team’s offense, getting everyone set up, and making plays on almost every possession as a creator in general while being double teamed in certain situations. When Norwalk is at full strength and playing their best ball, so is Birmingham. Now we just have to wait and see how this group builds on all of this moving into the Semi’s.

recorded last night was one of the most efficient outings we have ever seen at the high school level. Birmingham finished with 50 points on 16/28 shooting, 4/8 from deep, and 14/15 from the free throw line in total in their 82-44 victory. That’s right. You saw that final score correctly, meaning that Birmingham single handed out-scored the opposing team by herself. It’s still early for D1 programs to be talking to prospects out of the 2028 Class until June 1st but once that date comes, I’m sure that Birmingham’s phone is going to be ringing off the hook because she can flat out produce on any floor and that’s going to translate to the next level at the end of the day.

from Norwalk High School. Only a sophomore this year, Birmingham is shooting and scoring at an elite level for the 9-1 Warriors. I’d be doing her a disservice if I didn’t share her scoring stats: 32.2PPG, 56.6 FG%, 45.9 3PT%, and 85.1 FT%. She’s shooting just over 6 three point shots per game and is making them count — Birmingham doesn’t shy away from attempts 2-3 feet beyond the arc and does a nice job creating space behind screens to free herself up to shoot. Combined with her high IQ and ability to get to the rack, Birmingham is a top-notch bucket getter that will not only make you pay from beyond the arc, but will do so while helping you win games.

of Norwalk High School. I’m not sure which Division-level that Birmingham will end up at but it she stays on this pace, she is going to end up just like her older sister from year’s past, who is now starting at NWMS as a Freshman. Birmingham is a play-maker. She has an impactful game and her production really shows that. I’ve seen most of Norwalk’s contests this Winter and when Birmingham is on, they are tough to beat. She is much better than your average Women’s High School prospect and I’m sure her game-play will continue to reflect that as we move into Winter break.

Norwalk High School was in a battle last night on the road against Pella High School. The Warriors were only up 3-4 points going into halftime but in the second half they handled business and brought home the W by 20+ points. In their efforts the player that was the game MVP was

, Birmingham recorded 39 points on some crafty and intelligent play. She really got to whatever spots she wanted to off the dribble but her team also ran some solid sets within the half court to get her other open opportunities in different situations. We knew coming into this season that Birmingham was legit and a name to know out of the 2028 Class. I’m happy to see that she is picking up right where she left off from last Winter with her fierce playmaking ability.

is leading the state in PPG with 30.5. To pair along with that impressive number Birmingham is also currently averaging 4.5 APG, 7.5 RPG, & 4.5 SPG to help her team to an overall 2-0 record. This comes to no surprise to most of us who have been paying attention. Birmingham stepped onto the Varsity scene last Winter, she did her thing, and she took over the state as one of its best overall prospects from the guard position. Now it’s all about building on that momentum moving forward. With Birmingham’s overall skillset and with the competition they will compete against this regular season – it’s easy to see that this is someone who should continue to put up some impressive numbers over the next six months for her Sophomore season. She has all the talent in the world so as long as she stays mentally locked in, the success should follow suit.

of Norwalk High School is prepped for a big Winter ahead for her Sophomore season and I’m sure that she is going to have more collegiate programs interested in her as the year goes on. Birmingham, a 5’11 CG, is a playmaker. Someone that is a natural at this game of Basketball. She moves really well for a guard with better than average height and that makes her a mismatch for most opponents that come in her way. Birmingham currently holds a D1 offer or two but that list should start to stack up as she continues to get older.
