2025 Rankings Update - New Additions

There were quite a few girls added to the 2025 rankings. Below are some that really impressed me.   <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/dakotas/rankings/north-dakota-rankings/2025-rankings/">2025 Rankings - CLICK ME</a>    Edyn is a terrific player for the number 4 ranked Carrington Cardinals. She is one of the most fundamentally sound defensive players that I have watched this year. She does everything well defensively. She is able to guard the ball, fight in the post against bigger girls, and is incredible in the help side. Her length makes it difficult for every opponent she defends. She is also very solid offensively, being able to score the ball from deep and from drives to the basket.     I think [player_tooltip player_id='1057803' first='Emery' last='Holland'] was born with the 'clutch' gene. Every time I watch her she is making big time buckets and plays. She recently knocked down a game-tying 3 at the buzzer to send Central Cass into overtime against Grafton. She is a good outside shooter and isn't afraid of big moments. She defends with great enthusiasm and has athletic qualities that allow her to do really good things out on the floor.     Annelise is the key play for Grafton with all she is able to accomplish for her team. She is a crafty lefty that has a knack for always making the right play. A coach always loves to have players on their teams that don't make a lot of mistakes, and that is who Annelise is. She may not have eye-popping scoring numbers at the end of games, but her effective decision making that doesn't make it into the stats is what her team needs in order to be successful.     [player_tooltip player_id='1057801' first='Avah' last='Cotton'] is a great athlete that plays hard-nosed basketball. She is another girl that any coach would love to have on their team. She plays incredibly hard and leaves it all out there on the floor. When she subs out you can see she has given every ounce of effort she has. Once she subs back in, she is ready to do it all again. She defends great in the full court and can knock down open shots. Avah is a lot of fun to watch as a fan.     Katelyn is helping lead a tenacious Demon squad that plays a blue collar type of basketball that I can really appreciate as a fan. She is leading her team in scoring and rebounding and is shooting the ball at an efficient clip. She has decent size and is often tasked with defending other team's post. She battles with bigger girls and does a nice job of boxing out to help her team secure rebounds. I anticipate Katelyn making the All-WDA team this season if her great play continues throughout the rest of the year.     Greta is a cross-country athlete that doesn't ever seem to tire. She is a tremendously important defensive piece to number 3 ranked Valley City's defense. She is able to defend multiple positions and is the lead on the Hi-Liner's press. She makes passing difficult with her long reach and is able to secure rebounds with her size. She is able to keep possessions alive on the offensive end and is able to get put back layups for easy baskets for her team.     Kate is a long range 'sniper' for the Grafton Spoilers. She isn't afraid to pull the trigger from deep behind the three point line and for good reason. She shoots at a nice percentage and is able to space the floor for her team. She has a swagger to her that shows she has put time in improving her game in the offseason. She is going to be critical to her team if Grafton wants to make it back to the state tournament in 2025.     Payton has been a solid senior for a Roughrider team that looks different than year's past. She is averaging a respectable 7.8 points per game, good for second best on her team. She is also shooting a good 37% from the three point line. The 5'9 senior forward is her team's leading rebounder and brings a toughness that Coach Ripplinger looks for in his players.
