Talk about versatility, Elliana's multifaceted skillset made her extremely potent in the Girls Hoops Series. The high-level production she put forth was distinguishing. The Newman forward was dynamic in the halfcourt, as well sprinting the floor in secondary breaks. Scalabrine was coming off screens, setting screens herself and shooting the longball efficiently. Her dynamic play seemed to come within the flow of the offense. Not once was there a rushed attempt, every shot was a substantially refined look. The 3-point shooting was nearly flawless down to her release. Elliana gets great lift under her shot which equates to a high-arching beautiful shot. Incredibly active throughout the duration of the game, even when defenders ran her off the line, she was quickly able to adjust and get to quality floaters. The high IQ forward's decisive decision-making was noteworthy. The functionality of Elliana isn't just one sided though. As a defender, she presented herself as someone with size that's also nimble too. Her agility allowed her to stay low and open up her hips to even keep up with the guards on the floor. Scalabrine picked different players up in transition to stop the point of attack early. She wasn't afraid to get physical which allowed her to snag some valuable boards down low as well.

Her performance was definitely a memorable moment from the weekend.

Although Brimmer's game vs Saint Andrew's resulted in a blowout loss, Jaliah was one of the glowing aspects in the tough defeat. Brimmer is a very young team and Duplessy did her best to keep her team in the game. Her tough takes to the rim, resulted in her finishing over the tough backline defenders the Saints have. The Brimmer Gators struggled to get offense going periodically, so Jaliah found herself having to take over at times. She knows her spots and was relentless getting to those areas she's successful in. The steady wing provided a reliable option for her team when they were coming up short. Any 2029 player that can go head up against high-level college level prospects deserves recognition.

With a quick glance, it was clear that Dickson has one of the highest ceilings as a big in her class. Her intense play came alive later in the game and after dominating for an extended period of time, it was clear that she's a special player. There were flashes where the 6'4 center looked to be the best player on the floor. She was in sync with her teammates while making herself available as a significant target. The imposing size Dickson has proved to be massive and when she gets going it fuels the team. Her athleticism is an undisputable factor to why she is a compelling big. Dickson gave the impression of being that special spark that can put her squad over the top.

Charlotte was one of the constant players from the weekend that brought solid 2-way play which led to winning basketball. The Suffield Tigers are a team composed of wide-ranging talent that play cohesively. Charlotte was like the glue that brought it all together. Her tough-nosed takes to the rim made defenders collapse which opened things up for shooters on the perimeter. Theriault finished a couple resilient takes at the rim, despite fighting through heavy contact. One skill of hers that may be overlooked was her tendency to create off the dribble when there seemed to be nothing there. She extended plays that would cause others to reset the offense, something which required defenders to stay vigilant. On the other side of the ball, Charlotte was able to jump passing lanes to get out on the break. She made appropriate gambles which led to easy points. The defensive intensity was turned up when she was on the floor.

Zoe was a standout player in a blowout win vs. Brimmer & May. Her all-around play proved to be overwhelming for a defense that couldn't seem to contain her. She got superior looks without trying to do too much on the floor. Knight's ability to capitalize on mismatch opportunities should be appreciated. When she got the ball, she made the most of her opportunities. The athleticism combined with her polished skillset made her a highlight from the game. Zoe is starting to become an undeniable talent.
