Fast forward to her freshman season: she is even more impressive, scoring 27 points and 15 rebounds against #4 ranked Plainview in a huge win and also scoring 26 points, 15 rebounds, 7 assists, and 7 steals in a win against Austin. This student athlete is must-see TV.     [player_tooltip player_id='1165218' first='Kaitlin' last='Mitchell'] is already a top 3 player in 3A; with that being said, you can make a huge argument she is also a top 2 freshman this season. The numbers she is putting up, plus she has one of the highest usage rates I have ever seen on a freshman. She leads her team in almost every category and also is the Swiss Army knife for her team. This season her coach makes her guard the best player on the other team every game and also plays her at multiple positions. [player_tooltip player_id='1165218' first='Kaitlin' last='Mitchell'] can shoot, facilitate, drive, and guard 1-5 and also is a versatile defender. [player_tooltip player_id='1165218' first='Kaitlin' last='Mitchell']'s most recent games: 26 points and 12 rebounds against Vestavia, 17 points and 5 assists against Enterprise also.     [player_tooltip player_id='1165325' first='Avery' last='Davis'] is a prime example of a player you cannot leave wide open; she will punish you if you give her space. What makes Avery so special to me is how, even when she's cold, it doesn't affect her confidence; she will still shoot with confidence and make shots.Avery might not have the biggest role compared to others on this list, but she is by far the best 3-point shooting freshman, and arguably one of the top 3-point shooters in the state, which is a significant achievement for a freshman.[player_tooltip player_id='1165325' first='Avery' last='Davis'] is an off-ball, 3-point catch-and-shoot guard who can also beat you off the dribble. What impresses me most about her shooting ability is that she isn't a volume shooter; it doesn't take her 3-4 shots to find her rhythm. She comes out of the gate ready to rain down 3-pointers.In her most recent game against Pelham, [player_tooltip player_id='1165325' first='Avery' last='Davis'] scored 19 points, with 2 assists, 2 steals, and 5 made three-pointers, leading her team to victory."     [player_tooltip player_id='1165388' first='Ella' last='Watts'] is a skilled power forward whose supporting class makes it even harder to stop her from getting hers. [player_tooltip player_id='1165388' first='Ella' last='Watts']'s ability score and being a point forward are extremely deadly, and I can only see her getting better and better. [player_tooltip player_id='1165388' first='Ella' last='Watts'] suffered a horrible injury last seen, but she is slowly picking up where she left off. [player_tooltip player_id='1165388' first='Ella' last='Watts']'s most recent game was 18 points, 9 rebounds, and  7 steals against Albertville.      Kamyryn Knowles is a talented combo guard who has already scored 330 points in 16 games. She is averaging 19.4 points a game, making 57 3-pointers so far, shooting 32% from 3. Kamryn is an off-the-dribble scorer who is an amazing volume shooter. [player_tooltip player_id='950926' first='Kamryn' last='Knowles'] most recent game was 20 points, shooting 72% field goal percentage against Hamliton.     [player_tooltip player_id='1165524' first='Clarke' last='Ivatt'] is a big guard who posts up smaller guards, mainly excelling in isolation and playmaking and scoring for her team. Clarke loves to post up guards who are smaller than her. If the defense doesn't help, she punishes the smaller guard; if the defense helps, she swings the ball to the open cutter or her teammate. She currently is averaging 16 points per game and 7 rebounds a game. 4 assists a game 4 steals a game and 3 blocks a game.
