The winner contributes to their team's success in multiple statistical categories to help their team compete to their best potential. Several players were nominated, but only one can be selected. Those who were submitted and not chosen as Player of the Week receive recognition as Player of the Week Honorable Mention. Players who were not nominated for Player of the Week are not eligible to receive consideration as POTW or Honorable Mention. The Hawks defeated Sanford Meridian 58-42 and the defending State Champs West Bloomfield 79-53. Keira has now made 148 triples in her career with nearly two full high school seasons left to chase state records.
