Harlem, a guard for Michigan Crossover, showcased her explosive game at the Grassroots Spring Opener, using her quickness to blow past defenders and create scoring opportunities with ease. She shot the ball extremely well throughout the event, consistently putting pressure on opposing defenses. Already holding multiple Division I offers, Harlem continues to prove why she’s one of the top guards to watch, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see that list grow as the spring and summer go on. On the defensive end, she’s just as impactful, applying constant pressure and making life difficult for anyone she’s matched up with.

Harlem posted 15 points against St. Mary’s Prep, becoming Birmingham Groves’ all-time leading scorer (boys and girls). She passed the previous record of 1,417 and still has her entire senior year to reach the 2,000 point mark. Harlem had a near triple-double with 34 points, 11 rebounds, and nine steals during an emphatic win against Bloomfield Hills. She led Groves to an undefeated record in the OAA White, and the Falcons are heavy favorites to win District 24.

Harlem, a junior guard for Birmingham Groves, has been a driving force behind her team’s impressive 10-game win streak. An explosive athlete with elite quickness, she makes life difficult for opposing guards from the opening tip. Her pesky on-ball defense and relentless pressure have helped her average just under five steals per game, as she consistently jumps passing lanes and turns turnovers into fast-break opportunities. Harlem’s speed and athleticism allow her to cover ground in a flash, and her defensive intensity sets the tone for Groves every night. During this dominant stretch, she’s proven that her energy and lockdown mindset are key ingredients to her team’s success.

Harlem had another explosive week for Birmingham Groves, setting a new personal record and checking off an important career milestone. Harlem crossed the 1000 point threshold during a 71-33 win at rival Seaholm. She put up a productive 25 points (4/9 3PT) with 10 rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Harlem erupted for a career high 52 points (19/20 FT, 12/19 2PT) in a 106-69 win vs. Berkley. She added seven rebounds, four steals, one assist, and one block in the victory.

Harlem has solidified her place as Michigan’s top 2027 point guard prospect, and she has several D1 offers to back it up. Harlem plays bigger than her height and has added muscle to her frame. She’s athletic, agile, and a prolific playmaker for Groves. Harlem is putting up massive numbers in the Grinnell system this season and is on pace to shatter the school’s scoring records.

Groves put a mind-boggling amount of points on the scoreboard this week. Harlem erupted for a career-high 45 points (7 3PT) with eight rebounds, four steals, two assists, and one block during a 103-45 win at Fenton. She followed that up with a double-double in a 92-61 win vs. Fraser. Harlem scored 35 points (3 3PT) with 13 rebounds, seven steals, and one assist. Groves is running teams out of the gym using their fast-paced Grinnell system, and Harlem continues to prove why she’s an elite talent.

Harlem is a top five prospect and our top ranked point guard in the 2027 class–she played like it for Groves at the LBI Mitten Opening. I saw Harlem hit at least five triples in one game, including some nasty step-backs, and smooth shots off crossover combinations. The best players want the ball in crucial moments. Harlem weaved her way past defenders to score a tough bucket, giving Groves the lead in the closing seconds of the 4th quarter.

Harlem is a dynamic offensive playmaker and she showed that with Groves at the DCDHS Fall League. Harlem created driving lanes with her quick change of direction dribble combinations and finished a hard drive with a tough and-one layup. Harlem stretched the defense with her perimeter shooting and drained three smooth triples off the dribble.

Harlem is a do-it-all guard for Michigan Crossover who consistently fills up the stat sheet. She scores efficiently, has elite-level handles, and her court vision and passing ability are simply next level. Defensively, she’s a game changer – quick, disruptive, and always around the ball with her sharp instincts and quick hands. After a strong showing last year, she’s poised for another big spring and summer, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see more offers roll in as the AAU season unfolds.

Harlem shredded the stat sheet for Groves with 79 points, 26 rebounds, 12 assists, 11 steals, and six blocks in three games last week. She had 15 points, 10 rebounds, six assists, four steals, and four blocks in a 43-36 win against Royal Oak. Harlem set a new career high in points with 41 (11/11 FT), including nine rebounds, four assists, three steals, and a block during a 60-81 loss to Detroit Country Day. She capped off week 11 with 23 points, seven rebounds, four steals, two assists, and one block as Groves defeated Troy 48-43.
