Down the stretch, the junior could NOT miss. She single handily broke open the game with 8 straight points (then added a late free throw for good measure). A pair of three pointers, then a drive where she hit the breaks with a two foot stop and saw the defender slide by. Cold blooded player who finished with a team high 22 points on super impressive 5-7 shooting from three. Also led her squad in rebounds with 8 rebounds. Amazing clutch performance from the small town tournament, to cap a whirlwind two days for Class A squad.

Purdom wasn't as hot from three, going 5-12 from distance. But she's a true shooter with a short memory and her contributions were vital. Especially in the first half. Multiple times, it looked like Glenpool would pull away with the game. And seemingly ever time it was the elder Purdom who would keep Quinton within striking distance. Her steely senior nerves were crucial, and she's a great representative of a sharpshooting, ball moving and unselfish Quinton squad that made waves at the ToC.

Bounce back game for Williams and Memorial. Had her customary do it all game. Athletic plays on defense, tough scoring on offense then handing out dimes. And of course cleaning the glass. Had 17 points and 8 rebounds to lead the way. Good way to respond after a couple of losses and set the stage for the second half of a big senior season. With everything still to play for.

The double double machine was a Warrior for the Hammon, posted 32 and 11 on the day. Takes a beating around the rim, and keeps on ticking. Setting up deep, good fundamentals and touch to score quickly even when crowded. Swatted her fair of shots with her long wingspan and good timing. Did more than just battled downlow, had a first half stretch where she hit in the mid-range. Then even stepped out for a three. Has developed into a well rounded center.

The Northeastern State signee had a takeover moment to end the first and start the second. It was started with an acrobatic finish at the horn. Then she was a woman on a mission on defense. She was everywhere with deflections, steals, and even helped to force a 10 second count. Shawnee makes the most of her long arms on both ends of the court. Very strong two-way guard, that's staying in state. Finished with 23 points and 6 steals.
