The junior ran the offense making some high level passes, scored at all three levels and created havoc on the defensive end. The 5'5 point guard who's averaging 16.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 6.1 assists and a staggering 7.1 steals per game this season plays much larger than her stature, and is a true floor general for CCC. She once again showed her ability to score efficiently at all three levels while not forcing a bad shot. Kathleen plays at a pace that can't be taught, sees the game at an elite level and leads by example. Abernathy hit clutch shots in the fourth quarter and created multiple steals to help secure the win. Defensively she caused issues with her length and lateral quickness while blocking shots and crashing the boards. I was highly impressed with her footwork on the offensive end, not only on the block but also the elbow and free throw line. Shaw plays with an edge and toughness, she's very poised for a freshman.
