In front of a room full of college coaches and spectators, Martin had the nets “smoking “. Martin plays with a lot of savvy and knows how to set up for the shot with good timing and subtle movements on the floor. Martin's shooting stroke is smooth and it looks like money when she lets it go. She has a great feel for playing in the moment and loves to rise to the occasion. Her competitive nature comes through as well. On Day 1, she competed on defense and mixed it up a few times with the opponent. Watts can shoot it from anywhere on the floor. On Day 1 Watts showed the skillset: Drives to the basket, Pull-up midrange jumpers, and 3 to 4 threes from downtown. Watts was also impressive on the boards and showed some physicality with it. She rebounded well and every rebound was challenged by the opposing guards. Watts showed a little of everything and the future is bright. Nets beware- that three ball is electric. Everytime she came down the court the opposing coach was yelling “watch Busser”. Busser still managed to knock down 3 or 4 threes and put the dagger in the heart of the opponent. Busser was one of the top three point shooters in the building, again! Yes, the expression is becoming trite. Busser has solidified herself as one of the top shooters in the State. Get use to the opposing team game planning for her. She moves well without the ball and has great timing of when to make her move. Busser gets the shot off fast and with confidence.
