Maylee makes her way into the top 15 after a stellar start to her freshman season, averaging a team-leading 18.8 points a game for the Lady Raiders. Her performance in the third game of the season against Lynn Camp was nothing short of spectacular. She poured in a whopping 42 points, went 13/24 from the field, and 3/5 from deep to lead her team to victory. Maylee is proving to be a scoring machine and she is making it clear that she has the potential to be much higher on the list.

[player_tooltip player_id='973362' first='Jada' last='Patton'] is having a big-time freshman season for Lawrence County. She is second in points (16.3) and in rebounds (6.4) per game. Jada's size and athleticism allows her to make an impact on both sides of the floor. She has enough lateral quickness to guard the perimeter and enough length to protect the rim. She is a excellent rim runner and displays phenomenal foot work scoring in the low post. Jada is set to be the cornerstone for the Lady Bulldogs, and I am excited to see how her career unfolds over the next three years.

In her first season at Tates Creek, forward [player_tooltip player_id='881424' first='Koko' last='Castle'] is establishing herself as the top freshman in the 43rd district as well as a top 25 player in her class. She is the leading scorer for the Lady Commodores (12.6) and the second leading rebounder (6.2). Koko has several games with 15+ points and had her best performance in a OT thriller against Henry Clay, where she finished with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Her versatility on offense is what sets her apart. She excels at scoring in the paint, but has shown that she can shoot it efficiently from the mid-range and from behind the arc. (Featured Image)

[player_tooltip player_id='978237' first='Kylie' last='Smith'] continues to make a huge impact for the Lady 'Stangs in her freshman campaign. Kylie is carrying the scoring load, putting up 15 points a game and is right at the top in rebounds per game with 6. She is also making the most her free throw chances, converting 31 out of 40 attempts (77.5%) this season. Kylie is a well-rounded player who can score, rebound, and make her presence felt on the defensive end. I think she will continue to put everyone on notice as the season progresses.

Candice is off to a solid start for CAL this season getting around 10 points a game. She is a mult-level scorer who can knock down the 3-ball and take defenders off the dribble. Candice had an impressive 16-point outing against Shawnee in the second game of the season, and I expect her to continue to play good basketball throughout the 2024-2025 season.
