695 Hoops Does It Again

It seems like Al is always facing weather related issues with this event but manages to pull through year after year. This year was no different as there were some really good matchups as the public schools in the area went head to head with some of the top private schools. She zig zagged her way through traffic to get into the lane for a score. She drew a lot of contact with her activity and got to the line frequently where she made her free throws. She finished well down low and had a physical advantage over everyone on the opponent's team. She was very active on the defensive end and showed range by knocking down the three. She rebounded well getting to balls outside of her area. At 5'3" she was able to outrebound players much taller because she had great hustle and anticipation. She showed a nice midrange pull-up with good touch and accuracy. She finished well inside but also was able to operate some out on the wing as well as get down the court and finish the transition break after some dribbles.
