I’ve been impressed with Jaelyn’s steady improvement and this season she has taken another big jump. She’s always had tremendous energy and the ability to slash her way to the hoop, but her offense has really emerged this season. She is facing up and shooting the ball with more confidence and her handle has improved. She is a catalyst on defense, providing solid on ball work and activity in the passing lanes.

Jaelyn ran the floor well and finished on the fast break. She was very active on the defensive end and showed range by knocking down the three. She rebounded well getting to balls outside of her area. Her interior defense was solid while matching up against players with similar skills.

Jaelyn made some shots around the basket and even knocked down some thee pointers when she was open. She played hard during the day hustling for loose balls and defending well in both the interior and perimeter.

Jaelyn rebounds at a high rate which makes her a valuable player for any team. She can make baskets around the rim and we should see her get more opportunities to do so over the summer. Rebounding is a matter of effort and Jaelyn puts in the effort on the boards.
