Improving Game in Game Out:

The Conway HS Lady Tigers have had a tough start to the season. The Lady Tigers our currently (0-10) but surely, they have been improving under the leadership of Head Coach Zack Jenerette. Prep Girls Hoops has seen them play a few times this season now and the Lady Tigers are learning to play through adversity and play as a team. Mark my words they will pick up a few region wins by the end the season and surprise someone on a given night. This program isn't an easy "W" on opponent's schedule anymore.

Junior guard [player_tooltip player_id='451807' first='Rebecca' last='Hemingway'] leads the way for the Lady Tigers. The offense runs through Hemingway and looks to make the engine go. Rebecca plays well in from the mid-range with her shot selection. She rebounds the ball well from her guard position on the floor. Rebecca is the vocal leader and really looks to play every possession while on the floor to the fullest.

The Carvers Bay Lady Bears haven't held back all season playing a tough schedule. The Lady Bears currently (10-3) on the season have lost to the Top 2 teams in the Lower State in Class 1A in Military Magnet Academy and Denmark-Olar HS. The Lady Bears will rely on a solid starting 5 and plenty of experience to lead the way for Head Coach Logan Kingsbury heading into Region play. UNSIGNED Senior left-handed [player_tooltip player_id='175335' first='Jasmyn' last='Jenkins'] is the leader on this squad. The feisty Jenkins really brings a competitive edge to the floor especially on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='356320' first='D'Essence' last='Graham'] and [player_tooltip player_id='496206' first='Alana' last='Morris'] both UNSIGNED Seniors do what they need to do each given night. Graham constantly plays around the ball and provides hustle plays. Morris a point guard can provide some perimeter shooting when needed. Junior [player_tooltip player_id='756309' first='Erykah' last='Brown'] has really had some good moments with her play this season. [player_tooltip player_id='668305' first='Jurnee' last='Blye'] is a sophomore post player who will provide some production down in the paint. This group will win by committee each night it could be someone different stepping up and leading the way.

This Lady Bears team will be in every game and play to the end that's for sure. Who knows here they will be standing come late February - early March?

The Lady Eagles Look to be Clicking on All Cylinders:

The Military Magnet Academy Lady Eagles surely don't have a problem playing with the attitude anytime - any place motto. The Lady Eagles currently (10-3) have lost to all schools bigger than them. Head Coach Nathaniel Taylor has plenty of weapons on this squad. The Lady Eagles defeated Rock Hill HS here today after jumping out to a 33-10 halftime lead.

[player_tooltip player_id='196266' first='Dream' last='Watson'] is one of the top available UNSIGNED Seniors in the Palmetto State. Watson a jet quick point guard plays both ends of the floor. She really likes to get up and defend on the ball and create chaos for 94 feet. Dream likes playing her game on the offensive end going to the cup in attack mode. Dream will jump on the deck without hesitation for a loose ball. College programs what are you waiting on - Recruit her and she also Understands how to WIN GAMES.

[player_tooltip player_id='252502' first='Sabri' last='Mitchell'] is a UNSIGNED Senior for the Lady Eagles who plays out on the wing. Mitchell came off the bench today for the Lady Eagles in a win over Rock Hill HS. Sabri will look to slash or pull-up with a jumper from the perimeter. She does a nice job of playing active in the passing lanes and getting out and filling the lane in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='860961' first='Jada' last='Davis'] is a bit of an unknown player on this squad. The UNSIGNED Senior shooting guard is a catch-shoot guard from the perimeter. Jada has a nice shooting stroke and seems to be ready to receive the ball in the pocket when it's coming her way.

[player_tooltip player_id='366551' first='DaNariyah' last='Williams'] was looking to expand her game here today vs Rock Hill HS. She at times today was playing more out on the perimeter than we have seen in the past. DaNariyah plays the game extremely hard on both ends of the court. She will jump on the deck, collect a rebound through traffic or simply look to score on a putback. No play is off limits for her with her all-out effort at all times.

[player_tooltip player_id='668040' first='Lauren' last='Willis'] is just an 8th grader and a member of the 2029 Palmetto State Class. She plays extremely aggressive already down in the paint for her young age. Lauren understands where she will deliver results playing close to the basket and collecting putbacks along the way.

[player_tooltip player_id='1123439' first='Aniyah' last='Porter'] - C.A. Johnson HS (Columbia)

Porter stands under 5'0 tall for the Lady Hornets. Aniyah a left-handed guard scored 23 points in a game vs Johnson County HS (TN) we were able to catch here today. She plays the game going to the basket while keeping the ball low to the deck.

[player_tooltip player_id='1047746' first='Leila' last='Yandle'] - St James HS (Murrells Inlet)

Leila just an 8th grader finished with 10 points in the win over Happy Valley HS (TN). Yandle plays the game with good demeanor for her age and doesn't seem to get flustered at all. Leila is not afraid to have the ball in her hands on the ball late in the game. This Lady Sharks doesn't really score a lot of points, but they are certainly are in every game until the end it seems with Head Coach Paul Hudacko.

MacKenzie McClain - Johnson County HS (Johnson City, TN)

McClain came up with big shot after big shot here today for the Longhorns. MacKenzie has ability to score the ball. MacKenzie finished with 25 points in the win over C.A. Johnson HS here today. She will look to use ball-screens while connecting on some jumpers here today. MacKenzie logs a lot of minutes and rarely leaves the floor.
