MICHIGAN PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Dec. 29th-Jan. 4th

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Player of the Week Award is given to one student-athlete among many deserving candidates who demonstrates excellence during a week of their team's competition. The winner contributes to their team's success in multiple statistical categories to help her team compete to their best potential. Several players were deserving of recognition, but only one can be selected for Player of the Week. Those not chosen as Player of the Week receive recognition as Player of the Week Honorable Mention. Amal has posted multiple 20+ point performances, contributing heavily in assists and steals. Amal earned Michigan's Dec. 29th-Jan. 4th Player of the Week Award with 30 points, 9 steals, 5 assists, and 3 rebounds in a 62-32 win against Novi. She imposed her will in the paint scoring a game-high 27 points, with 14 rebounds, and 3 blocks.
