Eva is a long wing/guard that can do it all. She is a good shooter, and she does a good job using her length defensively. Eva rebounds well and makes the right pass. Madison is a reliable PG who does a good job running an offense when it's asked of her. Her biggest contribution is what she does as a POA defender. Madison hounds opposing guards, and she has great hands to force steals. Virginia won a close and entertaining game, and their guard play was again outstanding. [player_tooltip player_id='743970' first='Irieanna' last='Smoot'] had a big game for Virginia Academy with 20 points. Irieanna has shown her athleticism and three-level scoring ability in her first season at VA Academy. Ainsley is a lethal shooter with nice length for a wing. Ainsley competes on defense, and she can knock down threes as a spot-up shooter or off the bounce. Raigan had two 35-point games, one being in a close loss to Holy Child, and the other being in a win over Saint John Paul the Great. Raigan has always been one of my favorite players to watch. She has a high IQ, and you can see that with the shots she takes and the fact she is always in the right spot. She is a knockdown shooter and a plus defender. Raigan is a true three level scorer who isn't afraid to mix it up in the paint as a guard. She opened up the week with 21 points, 13 rebounds, and 6 blocks in a win over Madison. Alexandra also had the go-ahead bucket against an undefeated Oakton team. She had 12 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 blocks in that one. It is huge to be able to dump the ball down to someone who can get you points consistently.
