[player_tooltip player_id='1220023' first='Jalyn' last='Childress'] is probably their best player, and she has been slept on for a few years. Jalyn is a knockdown shooter and has great range. She has nice length for a guard and is a plus defender. Jalyn can hit her threes off the bounce or spotting up and has provided this Lightridge team with reliable production all year. She is an outstanding defender and consistently racks up steals. She is athletic and does a terrific job on the glass. Gabby gets to the rim and has a good-looking shot from three. She is one of the more underrated two-way players in NOVA, and she is a huge part of this Lightridge team on both ends. Oakton controlled most of this game, especially the second half, and a lot of that has to go to their backcourt. [player_tooltip player_id='876808' first='Sophie' last='Toole'] had a fantastic game against South County. Sophie did a good job moving without the ball, and she drove to the rim well. Sophie knocked down a few threes, one of which was a 4-point play early in the second half. Sophie got to the line and was good on defense. Sophie is skilled, strong, and athletic. Brooke had a nice day shooting, knocking down a handful of threes. Brooke got to the line a lot as well, especially in the second half.
