Top Division II-AA Miss Tennessee Basketball Nominees

The votes are coming in for the Miss Tennessee Basketball nominees. Each year, hundreds of coaches and media personnel vote for the top young ladies who stand out throughout the course of the year. As I mentioned in the previous article, I don't have a vote, so the names mentioned here are purely based on analysis and research.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Today, I would like to highlight the Division II-AA prospects. This stout division is very cutthroat and has some pretty good talent within their league. Each night is a dog fight, where the cream rises to the top when it's all said and done. The stars of the league always seem to figure it out, which tells me we have some pretty intelligent young ladies who grasp the nuances of the game. MoMo is a beast and she gets after it nightly. A 3-level scoring threat, she can pull up in transition to knock it down from three, or play off the bounce and get to the rim. She was a finalist for this award last year as an 8th grader, which is pretty impressive within this stout league. Already has received a ton of P4 offers. Each year, her game seemed to grow. From when she was a freshman making contributions to now, she has been one of the most consistent performers around the state. This kid is a hungry individual who brings it. A tremendous talent who shines when the lights come on is averaging 17ppg and 7 rpg. A gym rat, she has tremendous work ethic and is a proven winner when it comes to this game. Brings an impressive statical line into the fold: 20ppg, 6rpg, 3 apg, it's her the little things that set this young lady apart. She brings the energy, she sets the tone for the game, and she is a heady ball player who can exploit any defense that is thrown at her. Her game is transcending as she can get it done on the interior the traditional way or be creative and put it on the floor getting to the rim, utilizing her quick first step. She's a hungry individual who gets after it and can overcome whatever defense is thrown at her. Can play with the ball in her hands or without. She can get down hill and finish or unleash it from the arc with confidence, just know it's going to through the bottom of the net. She's been consistent throughout her high school career putting up double-digits each game. Bella doesn't shy away from opponents or big time moments. She has ice in her veins and is willing to take whatever is given to her. A double-digit scoring threat, this kid gets after it on both ends of the floor. A gym rat whose style and play transfers to the game, she brings it nightly as she is the number one scoring option for her ball club. A wizard with the ball in her hands, she is going to score it, distribute it, and regain it like the best of them. This kid is all about ball and I love the energy and effort she brings to the table. She has been scorching opponents, displaying an impressive state line of 16ppg, 4.2 rpg,3 apg, and 3.3 steals per game. This solid two-way player is a monster and gets after it on every possession. She can attack from multiple spots on the floor putting the ball in the hoop. This kid is solid and one of the kids in her class.
