TSSAA Teams to Watch: The Unbeaten Trio

Each squads brings something unique to the table and their teams get the job done in any form, shape, or fashion.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Clarksville brings a balance attack where they will mix up their defenses trying to speed you up to force you into a turnover.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>East Nashville is all about speed and athleticism. They have sensational guard play and athletic wings who are active in all facets of the game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Coffee Co. brings a little bit of everything. They have shooters who can also put it on the floor, as well as post players who dominate the painted area. They are some grinders who chip away at you throughout the course of the game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Each of these three teams has what it takes to make a title run. Each of them have been in a big moment in the past, whether it has been to the final four or a game leading to the state tournament. This may be the year where all three move forward. Anytime you look at their box scores, she has solid numbers all across the board. She may not get much notoriety, but she is that type of “glue girl” that keeps things together. Ever since she landed in Nashville from Memphis, she has been tearing up the 615. This kid has a solid all around game that makes her tough to defend. She can get down hill and finish against contact, wiggle and get to the mid-range using her quick first step that parlays into a jumper, she will get after it on the defensive end, locking you up and then go grab some boards. The Owls got them a solid kid in this one. This kid dominates the painted area. Is used in the screen game or gets fed in the post, she muscles through opponents on her way to putting up numbers. She's gifted enough to step out and shoot the 3. What I love about her most is her ability to enforce her will on the defensive end. She's big time on the boards and she blocks shots.
