With the second half of the season kicking off this past weekend with the famed Grow The Game tournament, there's a couple players that I believe should be on the watch for coaches. These are athletes who have started to separate themselves and are showing why they deserve to be noticed as the season continues.

When you think of this LT squad, it's hard to not give Emma the flowers that she deserves. She can absolutely light up a box score and her length allows her to be a problem on the boards and the defensive side as well. Off the ball is where she shines, catch and shoot, or a catch and rip is usually how she gets her buckets. The potential is there.

Lake Park is one of the more competitive teams in the DuKane Conference, and Gogola is key to that. On the offensive side of the ball, she can get it going from all three levels, but her defensive abilities are what set her apart. She's athletic, she's aggressive, and she has no fear when it comes to contact.

Vyverman has a quiet confidence about her, but the kid simply gets the job done. She's one of those prospects that could honestly get better once she's in a college program. With and without the ball, she can impact a game. Tremendous upside.

With the length that Lola has, defense has been her calling card in my opinion. She's a paint blanket and can cover the perimeter if need be. Offensively, she shines too. She has had multiple 20+ point games over the first half, and a ton of those buckets are from multiple spots and angles. The potential is there.

Still one of the purest shooters in this class, Shea has been shining in a more dominant role since arriving at WWS. Multiple high-point games, but the defense is what St. Francis might be most excited about when she lands on campus.
