Week 7 Recap- Haleigh's Top Shooters!

Taking a last look at the games I covered last week and here are the ladies who really lit it up behind the three-point line and kept that hot hand the whole game.    Very strong with or without the ball, her help side defense really stood out to me which resulted in the opposing team making a lot of turnovers which allowed her to score easily. She pushes the ball up the floor when needed and has a high IQ for the game. She plays smart and is a big body on the paint who protects it well. She comes off of screens to shoot the ball and she shoots it smoothly!     When she gets the opportunity to make something happen for her team, she doesn't let that chance slip out of her hands. When she attacks the rim, she can see the post on the opposite block to dish it off too, great court vision along with flashy passes to her open teammates. She's always ready to shoot and can hit an outside shot with a hand in her face, once she gets going hitting her shots, she's hard to stop.     Her quick hands and reactions allow her to get a lot of steals and sprint down the floor for two points, she runs the ball in transition well even without the ball she knows where to be at all times and gives her team a big spark when she gets going. She sets hard screens and rolls to the bucket to score, has a nice pull-up midrange jump shot as well. When a shot goes up, she puts a body on someone and looks to pull down the rebound.     Excellent ball handling skills, when she goes up to score at the rim, she can make flashy moves and switch the ball to the opposite hand to score. She runs the floor with her speed and spreads the floor out so she can get an open shot. She doesn't stand in one spot; she comes off screens and cuts through the passing lanes. She can see her open teammates down the floor for fastbreak points.     When it comes down to putting the ball in the hoop, she has no problem scoring points and making plays when she has the ball in her hands. She attacks the open seams of the defense and gets to the rim to score. She can get the job done on the defensive end of things with her quick hands and great body control. With or without the ball this young lady makes something spark on the court.
