She's averaging 15 points per game this winter with a team-high 208 points. The 5'6" point guard has been lights out from distance as she also leads the team with 33 three-pointers. Most recently, she knocked down three triples in the Crusaders' 69-42 non-league road victory over Woodbury.

http://www.hudl.com/v/2RWMBA

Powell is the offensive leader of a powerful Middle Township team that's off to an 11-2 start. She excels shooting free throws, making 51 of 63 attempts (81%) so far this winter. The 5'9" shooting guard has shown a nice step-back three-ball as well. Over her last three games, wins over Holy Spirit, Mainland, and Williamstown, she has averaged 20 points and nine rebounds. Look for her to continue to be the focal point for the Panthers as they chase another South Jersey Group 2 title.

http://www.hudl.com/v/2RPQSj

Little has played a big offensive role for the 11-3 Spartans. The 5'6" point guard recently reached the 1,200-point barrier. She thrives off the mid-range shot and has a pretty three-ball. In a huge divisional win for Holy Spirit over OLMA on January 21, she tallied a game-high 21 points en route to the 62-55 victory.

We're five weeks into the season, and Downey has put herself squarely in the discussion for South Jersey player of the year. She's averaging 24 PPG with 384 total points through 16 games. The 5'7" point guard is nearing 300 career threes, and she recently set the Cape-Atlantic League all-time record for three-pointers.

The senior is just 195 points away from reaching the 2,000 points milestone. At this rate, that will take her around eight games. She'll undoubtedly go down as one of the best to ever suit up for the Braves and in the history of the CAL.

Lewis continues to prove that she's one of the best sophomores in the region. After posting 422 points as a rookie, the 6'0" small forward is on pace to pass that easily as she has 276 points through 14 games this winter (nearly 20 PPG). She is a knockdown free-throw shooter and comes up big when it matters most.

The Cape Atlantic League American Divison is one of the most competitive in the region this winter. Four of its seven teams have a .500 or better record through January 21.
