[player_tooltip player_id='675829' first='Saige' last='Hadley'], 5'9", PF, Lebo - Hadley has been one of the top post players in the class for a long time and is driven to lead the Wolves to her fourth state tournament appearance. Each of the previous three have ended with losses to Hanover, the past two in the title game. She is a match-up problem for opponents due to her versatility, IQ, frame and consistency. Hadley is working to parlay her ability and desire to earn a change in fortune this season. While I am unable to find her current stats for this year on a public site she did average 16.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.6 steals a season ago.

[player_tooltip player_id='1202703' first='Belle' last='Barnett'], 5'8", SF, Central Christian, 2026 - The 2024 1A state high jump champ is an important piece for the Cougars on both ends of the floor. She has solid speed, catches and finishes well and uses her hoops and frame to gather rebounds. After missing last season she is looking to lead her team back to the state tournament.

Emily Crique, 5'10", CG/SF, Marais des Cygnes Valley, 2028 - Crique plays a big role for the Trojans...doing a little of everything. A scrapper, Crique uses her length well to gather and collect rebounds; score in the point; block shots and stroke three balls. Where she is arguably the most dangerous is handling the ball in transition. With or without the ball she gets down the floor with speed. And with her frame, most players are not going to be able to knock her off the ball. Keep an eye on this one in the years ahead.

Addison Heater, 5'6", SG, South Haven, 2025 - Heater is a spot-up shooter with who shoots the three ball with little wasted movement. She will use a solid, quick ball-fake to get space. The Cardinals have been eliminated at state in the first round each of the past three seasons. Heater, a spot-up shooter, is primed to see that change as part of one of the class' most prolific scoring teams.

Avery Kauffman, 5'3", PG, Central Christian, 2028 - The last time the Cougars reached the state tournament Kaufman's older sister Kaylee was leading the team at the point. And even early in the season I saw the resemblance in their games. The freshman is a high potential player with good strength and ability to hit teammates on the button with a down-the-floor pass for a score.

[player_tooltip player_id='1202705' first='Grace' last='Prescott'], 5'2", PG, Elyria Christian, 2026 - Prescott can be something to watch. Very fast with the ball, she will weave through traffic and split double teams in the back court. Once through she makes quick, crisp passes to shooters or basket runners. High motor on both ends of the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1202707' first='Kelly' last='Theurer'], 5'7", CG, South Haven, 2026 - Theurer returned this season after averaging 10 points per game this season. The rangy guard is disruptive at the top of full court pressure and goes end-to-end and finishes with speed. Theurer has a quick trigger and good bounce on her perimeter shot off the catch. A consistent scoring threat at all three levels. Her two-way play will be a key driver for the Cardinals' as they look to break through the first round of state.

Akyra Traver, 5'5", PG, Marais Des Cygnes Valley, 2026 - Traver is having a big junior season. Among the state leaders statistically. She is averaging 20 points, 8.3 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 5.1 steals. As a shooter she can hit shots, including the challenged three, quickly off the catch and step-back. Defensively Traver has a feel for where opponents are on the perimeter. Anticipating passes, she will pick them and go end-to-end to finish at speed.

[player_tooltip player_id='1202711' first='Aubrianna' last='Vannocker'], 5'2", SG, Lebo, 2026 - The lightly built Vannocker stepped into a more prominent role this season due to graduations at the guard positions. She brings big stage experience after being on state runner-up teams the past two seasons. Her perimeter shooting, while a tick slow, is a key to the Wolves success as it opens up plenty of space for her post players to work.

Trinity Windle, SF, Hartford, 2025 - Windle has the best all-around game for the Jaguars. A solid defender who boxes out then jumps to the rebound well, her scoring and passing in the half court will be a key for success.
