[player_tooltip player_id='675827' first='Carlie' last='Brummer'], G, St. John's/Tipton, 2025 - Brummer has made trips to state every year with the team's best finish being third in 2023. A prolific scorer Brummer is has scored more than 1,200 points in her career. She also is good for a half dozen rebounds, 4 steals and 3 assists per game. along with [player_tooltip player_id='1202701' first='Lynelle' last='Gengler'] and Ava Brummer.

[player_tooltip player_id='932928' first='Gracie' last='Bruna'], 5'6", SG, Hanover, 2027 - As a freshman Bruna played a vital role in Hanover's state title run in 2024. That role expanded with the graduation of four seniors and the Wildcats are positioned to score a three-peat. A quality perimeter shooter and defender. Bruna won a championship this past summer at the MAYB North National Championships.

[player_tooltip player_id='1202701' first='Lynelle' last='Gengler'], 5'8", SF, St. John's/Tipton, 2026 - Gengler's scoring and rebounding will be key for the Blue Jays to continue their string of state tournament appearances. She is good for putting up 9 points and 6 rebounds per game. If she can substantially ratchet up her free throw percentage it will have a big impact in winning close games.

Marcella Huerta, Linn, SG, 2025 - Huerta has been Linn's leading scorer and rebounder each of the past two seasons at 11-12 points per game and more than 6 rebounds. She has a solid frame and is a serious perimeter threat. The Bulldogs need to consistently beat full court pressure for her to get looks.

[player_tooltip player_id='649175' first='Anna' last='Jueneman'], 5'7", G, Hanover, 2025 - The thousand+ point scorer and 2024 Sports In Kansas 1A D II player of the year is a primary driver in the Wildcats' championship run. Consistently scoring around 50% from the floor she is a talented multi-sport athlete. A strong scorer from all over the floor Jueneman goes end-to-end and finishes with speed. She jumps well to rebounds and scores with elevation with either hand. Fouling her is rarely a good idea given she shoots nearly 75% from the line.

Kylie Loring, CG, Pike Valley, 2027 - The Panthers have not been a good perimeter shooting team. For the Panthers to advance Loring, the teams top shooter, has to make shots. She is averaging 9 points while collecting just over a steal per game.

Baileigh Peters, PG, Linn, 2027 - Peters is a double-digit scorer who also gathers more than steals and assists per game. For Linn to be successful she will have to insure turnovers versus back court pressure are few.

Breanna Reeves, 5'7", SG, Pike Valley, 2025 - At 15.4 points per game Reeves is the Panthers top scorer. She is grabbing 6 steals and 3.2 steals per game will dropping 2.7 assists. A key driver will be cutting down on her 5 turnovers per game. She has shot a whopping 143 free throws, making 73%.

Delaney Sides, 5'5", SF, Northern Valley, 2025 - Sides was a big piece of the team's Cinderella run to a fourth place state tournament finish a season ago. Coming out of a Western Kansas Liberty League that has three teams ranked in the top 10 their 6-win record is a bit deceiving. Sides and several of her teammates returned from that run and have the ability to upset their way to another appearance. For that to happen the Huskies need to generate live turnovers in the half court, take care of the ball and for Sides to shoot well from the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='822752' first='Averi' last='Windholz'], 5'10", C, Victoria, 2025 - Windholz is big with legitimate size, transition speed and scoring ability. the Knights have had a up and down season but have pieces that can create match-up problems. Windholz is the school's all-time leading rebounder and is a walking double-double. For post-season success she will need to be the dominant paint presence on the floor for either team. Watch for her to go end-to-end off the rebound. Knights' top returning player after averaging 14.2 points and 9.2 rebounds last season as a junior.
