With this Spring and Summer Ball upon us, 2027 is looking to heat up. The rankings were recently released and updated in April, so now comes the chance to prove who is really who. Checking out the list myself, I highlighted a few who I believe have a strong chance of climbing up those rankings. With key seniors leaving and more responsibility being put on them, I think these 5 girls can shine bright under the big lights.

A defense 1st two-guard with an interesting shooting form that seems to work for her. Plays with good energy and stays focused on the task at hand. She is not afraid to attack the paint. With a key senior for Liberal leaving this year, Madysen's game will most likely take the next step offensively. Currently ranked at #150, I can see her climbing the top 100 by fall easily.

Versatile Big who aggressively looks for her shot and can shoot from beyond the arc to stretch the defense. With Inman's senior and leading scorer leaving this year, I believe Taylor's usage rate will go up significantly for the upcoming season. Currently ranked at #146, at her size and athletic ability, she will be too important to Inman's game plan not to go up the rankings.

Can defend 1-4 pretty well on-ball. Off-ball, she can be a nightmare as well. Her post-denial is strong. She is way faster than she looks, and I have her going up the rankings from #117 pretty easily because she also happens to be Salina Central's most potent scorer. Next year, that will only expand because I see her handling the ball a little more due to her being very effective in the fast break.

Aggressive in establishing herself in the post early. This causes teams to crowd her in the paint and occasionally throw double teams at her. At Newton, this could open up more opportunities for her teammates with the right spacing and cutting. With Ana currently being ranked at #86, I believe she goes up because the team around her could improve as a result of her presence in the paint, thus getting more wins in the process.

Ranked at #12, Destiny will likely expand her leadership role with key seniors leaving Wichita Heights. Her speed and quickness on both sides of the ball should garner her a top 10 bid. Destiny plays with a ton of intensity, combined with endurance, and that just makes opponents around her commit more turnovers. Due to these factors, she can compete with anyone in the top 3 on any given night.
