Yazmin Rios hit a trio of statistical milestones this season, with 1K points being the most notable. The Riverside prospect was a four-year varsity player and a major contributor to a program that consistently won year in, year out. Additionally, Rios passed some significant markers on the defensive end with 700 plus rebounds and 400 plus steals, averaging 3.4 steals per game in 123 varsity games. Rios was part of a core group of seniors from the class of 2025 who will be greatly missed at Riverside.

Jocelyn Castro's entry on this list is even more impressive because she hit three significant milestones in three years. The Riverside wing started her high school career at Clint High School before transferring her junior year. Her 1,219 points in 92 career games highlight where this prospect truly shines--scoring the ball. Castro is one of the best bucket-getters this area has to offer. If Castro had a fourth year, some of her career totals would have been among the best for her class across four of five statistical categories.

Arguably, the most impressive prospect on this list is Danae Gonzalez. Why? For starters, she hit some significant markers in just three years of play, but the type of markers she hit makes is impressive. The Burges prospect surpassed 500 career rebounds at the guard position. Gonzalez is one of the smallest players every time she steps on the court, and yet she is one of the best rebounders at no more than 5'3''. Also, she scored 564 points in 2024-25 to surpass the coveted 1K points milestone. Coming into this season, that is not a marker you would assume she would have a chance of surpassing. Burges is graduating one of the most well-rounded prospects regardless of position.

The first junior to make this list is Mia Hairston. The Montwood guard has been one of the more productive scorers since entering the varsity team her freshman year. Her 2024-25 season was no different, as she posted her third consecutive season averaging double-digit points per game. More importantly, she helped Montwood to a top-three finish in 6A and a playoff appearance. Hairston will have a good shot at surpassing 1,500 career points by the time she concludes her high school career for the Rams.

Krystal Talavera has been slowly chipping away at the 1K points milestone since she came into the Pebble Hills varsity team in 2021. She started her career coming off the bench as a freshman and ended her time with Pebble Hills as a key starter on a championship team. She surpassed 1,000 career points in her second-to-last high school game. In her senior year, Talavera led the Spartans in points, field goals made, and 3-pointers made.

At face value, Kaylan Medrano's milestones might seem less impressive compared to other entries, but it's all about context. Medrano has surpassed 200-plus steals and 100-plus 3-pointers made in just two years at the varsity level. The junior is a major contributor to one of the best 5A programs in this region. More importantly, she still has one year left to build on what was an improved junior year. By the time Medrano is done at Americas High School, she will have well over 300 plus steals and potentially 1,000 career points. Medrano is by no means done hitting milestones.

The numbers speak for themselves. During her four years at Hanks High School, Daisy Fernandez was one of the best scorers and rebounders in girls' 5A basketball. She was a legitimate contributor, even going back to her freshman year. Hanks is capping a terrific four-year run of winning at the 2-5A level, and Fernandez had a lot to do with that. She is one of the few prospects to lead her team in points, field goals made, 3-pointers made, two-point field goals made, and free throws made. The senior wing was truly her team's most reliable and productive three-level scorer from 2024-25.
