The 2A and 3A Classes kick off their Playoffs tonight across the state of Iowa. Here are five players to watch in tonight's contests.

Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!

Pella Christian hosts Colfax-Mingo High School on Saturday evening in attempts to move onto the next Round of Playoffs at the 2A level. PC's main producer for 1.5 years now and their leader once again this season has been CG - [player_tooltip player_id='832203' first='Rachel' last='Kacmarynski']. Kacmarynski is listed as a CG because of the fact that she can move between the 1 and the 2 at Will. When looking at their entire roster and strategy, Kacmarynski is their main producer in more ways than one. She can handle the ball, get to the bucket with ease, and she can help out the others around her with her facilitating ability. These three abilities really help her thrive. That's been the case throughout her high school career so far and I don't think that will change up this evening.

If you told me that [player_tooltip player_id='842632' first='Callie' last='Huber'] was going to be the "x-factor" on Saturday night in their contest against Central Lee, I wouldn't be supervised. Huber, the 6'0 Center/Power Forward, is someone that is tough to handle in the paint and her team is well aware of that. Mid-Prairie does a great job of getting their best big the ball with time under the hoop and that leads to a ton of buckets or opportunities. Huber has been a real factor against opponents as of late and I think tonight, she is going to FEAST on the inside.

[player_tooltip player_id='311399' first='Pearson' last='Hall'] is a feisty and creative PG out on the hardwood. Hall is a 5'1 PG, that is committed to Drake to compete on the softball diamond following her high school career, speaking to her athleticism. For West Liberty this is someone that is a source of their motor as a team. Hall seems to be the one that pushes the pace for this squad, as she is always ready to do battle. On the year she is averaging over 11 PPG, 6 RPG, and 4.5 APG, showing up on all fronts for her squad. These numbers lead the team in every category expect scoring where she comes in second right behind freshman, Kylee Daufeldt. This game between West Liberty and Benton is going to be a narrow one. If everyone plays to their full potential, this is one that should come down to the last 2 minutes of the ball game.

HDC High School comes into Saturday with a 19-2 record, only dropping two battles throughout their high school season thus far. A big reason for their success is because of their upperclassmen leadership. Someone that I'm specifically speaking about is [player_tooltip player_id='671462' first='Jordan' last='Valley']. Valley is the SG that is leading her team in PPG on over 37% shooting from the field. She is one of the main players that her team looks too, to make open looks on the offensive end of things. Defensively, her active hands and feet like to cause a lot of chaos against her opponents. Jordan and her sister are a hot commodity in the recruitment world right now. They are two of the highest ranking 2025 players in Iowa, that hold a ton of offers and that are still uncommitted moving into the Post Season. I'm sure it's only a matter of time until those two pick their future but right now, they are mentally locked in on making some waves on Saturday night.

[player_tooltip player_id='609461' first='Morgan' last='Crees'], a 5'9 Combo Guard, has been the leader of the Panorama Panthers for almost 3 years now. This Winter she is someone that has stepped up big time to be her team's main producer on both ends and that is going to be looked upon tonight as they take on Ogden High School. In realty, Crees is a mismatch. Her quick movement, coordinated play-style, and ability to adapt in any situations makes her tough to guard. It seems like anyone that has had this task over the past few years, hasn't done a great job of staying in front of her. I do expect Panorama to win this game and move on but it will be all hands on deck per usual.
