I also watched Grace Christian vs The King's Academy online on 2/21. TKA came away with the win &amp; they are not done yet! She also made a beautiful crossover move to pull up and drill the mid-range. She has a smooth shot and elite handles. Green is equipped with the tools and skills to take this team to a state championship. She scored 6 out of her team's first 8 points. She was the offensive threat that her team needed! Green is the leader that every coach dreams of having on their team! A dominate first half led her team to a 34-18 lead. She carried that same momentum to the second half and scored the first points on a nice baseline jumper. She is a monster on the glass. She pulled down numerous boards, including huge offensive rebounds! She uses her size and length incredibly well! She made a nice deflection in the second quarter that led to a steal for her team! Mays will continue to be at the top of her class. Remember, she's only a freshman! However, she plays so much older! She did a great job of drawing contact through the entire game and getting to the line. She is a solid rim protector that made a beautiful block in the 4th quarter! This one has tremendous upside! She has elite footwork with a bag full of beautiful moves. She showcased this numerous times in the first quarter and throughout the game. She has a great touch around the rim! Despite the loss, she filled up an entire stat sheet. She picked up steals, and she added numerous big time rebounds. She was excellent attacking and getting into the paint and kicking it out to open teammates. Despite the loss, Perry was tough. Perry and Redd had 20 of the 24 points for Catholic before the 4th quarter. Perry was relentless on defense and crashing the boards. Harper continues to play extremely unselfish! She scored the first bunches of points for TKA. A complete powerhouse post that is not going to be stopped. She imposed her will and did whatever she wanted inside the paint. I love the patience that Branam plays with. She let a play unfold and had a beautiful assist in the 1st quarter to Walden. She does so many great things on the basketball court! She has put in the time and it shows on the court! Burns hit three long balls in the first quarter. She hit a beautiful dagger to tie the game 12-12 after one! She did an amazing job of getting to her spot and letting it fly. She continues to create offense for herself and teammates. She has put time in the weight room and that is one separation factor from her and others. She picked up a huge steal and assist to pull her team within 1 around the one minute mark. She is the true definition of having an extension of a coach on the floor. She's a sophomore that makes everyone around her better. She makes all the correct reads. She makes exceptional post entry passes. She makes things happen before others know. Walden is an elite athlete with an extremely high basketball IQ. I love her ability to shoot the ball from anywhere on the court. She made the long 3 ball in the 3rd quarter look easy. However, the ball handling and the elite baseline jumper in the 4th with a little over two minutes left was a favorite play of the game! You can tell when an athlete studies film and their opponents, and I know Walden was ready to compete and get her team the win over GCA! She sealed it with stepping to the line and knocking down the free throws with 30 seconds left and again with 9 seconds left in the game. Did you see the long 3 that she hit in the 4th quarter? Did you see the nice spin move and make with 1:15 left in the game? She is gifted with height and has incredible length! She imposed her will to start the third quarter by finishing an old-fashioned 3 point play. She picked up numerous defensive and offensive rebounds. She did well finishing around the rim during this game. She did the right thing time and time again when rebounding and keeping the ball high. No one is getting the ball out of Adit's hands when she has it high over her head!
