Impactful Performances in Women’s Basketball

Throughout the state, you can look around and see just how much this game means to kids. We have had teams who have dominated the competition as well as teams whose seasons didn't go as planned. Either way, I have yet to see a kid who just has thrown in the towel and given up.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The great part about this game is that it's almost a tale of two seasons. You have the regular season which is the marathon and then you have the postseason which is a grind. During the postseason, anything can happen. This is where Cinderella can tell her story. You just never know. She has done it all for her club, led them in scoring, rebounds, and steals. Her style of play has kept them in some games but also has given her coaches someone to build around in the future. She's been the aggressor, causing fits on the floor. I love her ability to read and react to take advantage of a situation. Once she sees something, she exploits it and then that's all she wrote. A sharpshooter who is lethal from afar, but can also put the ball on the floor to create. She is confident, and athletic, and will do whatever to help her ball club win. Contributes on both ends of the floor, however when her team needs a bucket, they call on her. A sensational sophomore who has had a stellar year. This kid is solid. A heady point guard who can run an offense efficiently, however, go get a bucket at a time of need. She can score from all three levels. Her speed and quickness pose as a threat, which are on display on both ends of the floor. This kid is a gamer, someone who goes out to win each possession.
