Pender High School is always a program that knows how to bring it with their best on the court. That's been obvious for the past couple of years now. Along with that, the Pendragons also have a number of skilled individuals to help their cause. Someone that specifically comes to mind is senior, [player_tooltip player_id='316682' first='Maya' last='Dolliver']. Dolliver broke the schools all time scoring and assisting record last week in her efforts on the floor. Moving into this week, she sits with over 1525 career points, 367 career assists and she is still counting. Moving into the Playoffs I anticipate that Dolliver will be one of the highest producers in PPG, APG, and SPG, no matter the Class or age level, across the state. Looking back, she is going to go down as one of the best Pendragons to ever do it and that's something she should definitely be proud about.

I have said it once and I'll say it again. Nakia Ollivierre of Waterloo West would be a HOT commodity in the recruiting game right now if she did not commit to West Point early on in her high school career. Ollivierre is a special talent on the floor. With some able prospects around her, that are seasoned at their positions, who knows what she would be able to do in the grand scheme of things. With that being said, Ollivierre reached the career goal of 1500 points scored at the varsity level over the past 2.5 years. While still having a senior season left to come, this is someone that should hit the 2K mark before she ends her high school career. That is a number that most prospects don't touch during their four year career and that just speaks of her abilities on that side of the ball.

At the end of the last week Sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='832211' first='Cora' last='Sauer'] of Lake Mills High School set the season record for three pointers made. Sauer may be young in her high school career but she is really coming into her own in front of our eyes this Winter. She is being a constant for her varsity program in more ways than just scoring. She is defending like her life depends on it at times, she is finding others off of her creation, and she is being a great teammate to those around her. She just also happens to be hitting a ton of three pointers, whenever the opportunities present themselves as well. That is something you can't be mad at if you are the coaching staff or a fan of Lake Mills.

[player_tooltip player_id='842589' first='Ellen' last='Cook'] of Monetzuma High School has been a steady producer on both sides of the basketball for her entire career. Earlier this season, Cook reached that coveted 1K mark for scoring over her career on the varsity floor. Cook is apart of this group that has put together some memorable years throughout recent history. They have done a ton of winning as a whole and Cook has honestly been a main reason for that. After this Winter, they are definitely going to miss their senior leader. Cook is more than just a scorer. She is a presence that everyone else can look up to and that's invaluable when you are trying to compete for a State Title.
