This season in particular has been a special one. There's been so much talent to cover from the region, but specifically this February, there's been no shortage of information to report on. The seedings are shaping up, teams are in full stride and some of the best basketball of the year is about to be played. With that being said, there're certainly some young ladies that've outperformed recently. Below are 5 girls that've had advanced performances this month. This is the second part to the conversation.

Use code MBG30 for 30% off your first purchase of any subscription.

[player_tooltip player_id='407562' first='Elyse' last='Macdonough'] (2025) | 5'8 Guard | Worcester

Elyse has been playing stunningly as of late. This month she's had numerous big scoring outputs including a few 20+ pt games recently. She just had 21 in a statement win vs Marianapolis as well 27 pts vs Rowe Court. She's looked terrific in these matchups, truly demonstrating her talents. A distinguishing feature of her game is the angles she creates while penetrating. One of the best point-generators around. If she's not getting the basket herself, her skillset influences others to get easier baskets themselves. The St. Bonnie's commit is an unparalleled factor for Worcester. She's been demonstrating her relentless creation skills off the dribble and her ability to find multiple ways to dissect the defense has been at an all-time high. Macdonough has been one of the better lead guards around in her senior campaign.

[player_tooltip player_id='967273' first='Tiffany' last='Burns'] (2027) | 5'9 PG | Austin Prep

Burns has been rolling this month. Her dynamic playstyle has been on full display as she's been crafting many games that absolutely affirm her high ranking. Burns has one of the best bigs talents in the country playing her with in [player_tooltip player_id='998269' first='Fope' last='Ayo']. Tiffany has a major target to get some assist to as she pierces the lane. The highly ranked point guard plays aggressively in pick & roll possessions; her aptitude for probing and playmaking in rapid-fire situations should be noted. Her high-powered efforts have been resulting in a few double-doubles this month. Even when Autin Prep was hitting their slumps, Tiffany stayed true to her game, remaining aggressive and still a very worthy watch. The lively point is developing very nicely plus she's producing sizable volume.

[player_tooltip player_id='1203332' first='Nova' last='Woodward'] (2027) | 5'5 Guard | Westerly

Nova has been a player that's come across the radars with her invigorating playstyle. She's a versatile player that can fill a ton of the team's needs. The '27 guard was an underrated freshman, but now with the addition of advanced scoring as well as playmaking, she's getting the recognition she she's due. Woodward prances through the lane painlessly and can knock down both midranges plus the 3-point shot. What's nice is she's a player that doesn't require the ball in her hands all the time to generate points, so she can find many ways to affect the game. The ability to get to the line is something that may be overlooked, however it's vital in her strategy. She'll gladly get off the ball to find the open area just to receive a great look back from a teammate. Nova also makes others around her better with infectious team-first with qualities that lead to beneficial basketball being played.

Woodward has been a regular double-digit scorer for Westerly all season, but in the last couple of weeks, she's had impressive showings. One of these games included was a 23-point performance where she scored 17 in the first half. With Nova rising to new heights of play combined with the microwave scoring potential, she should have consideration as one of the better guard talents in RI this year.

[player_tooltip player_id='393472' first='Bella' last='Owumi'] (2027) | 5'9 SG | St. Mary's

The 2-way elite star is well known in the space, but she's been outstanding in the last few matchups. Bella was one of the standout performers in the Spartan Classic a few days ago. Owumi puts on a show each time she hits the floor. Her fascinating play on both ends requires opponents to bring their 'A' game every time. It's even more impressive that Owumi gets the best out of her competitors and still produces at the level she does. Teams load up on her as well as attempt to take her traditional methods away, but she just can't be stopped. Whether its hitting swing 3's, getting to the line or finishing through players, Bella remains a constant threat. Not only a potent offensive player, but she also takes on other team's best players without second thought. There's never a time where she's getting taken advantage, even though she faces some of the most proficient offensive players in the region on a regular basis. The highly competitive nature of Owumi in combination with her physical tools makes her quite the staunch defender.

It's stated that Bella currently has about 16 offers. Theres not many players to this date in the class with as much recruitment interest as her. What a special player she is.

[player_tooltip player_id='496118' first='Charlotte' last='Theriault'] (2027) | 5'9 Guard | Suffield

Charlotte has been heating up lately with performances that include a 22-point game where she scored 17 of the 22 in the first half. She's had a multitude of double-digit scoring games with a steady number of assists in most of these showings too. Theriault has a very unique game. She's an incredible creator beneath the 3-point line. The creation is crafted with an extreme amount of downhill force merged with a strong frame that gets the edge on many defenders. What's most surprising is her effective handle that she carefully uses to get to her scoring areas. Many players guarding her just don't have the reaction skills to keep up with the lateral movements either. She unquestionably requires the opposing team's consummate defenders at most times and can't be allowed to create a rhythm for herself. The '27 guard has polished moves that constantly require others to step up. Sometimes that's just not enough though, once Charolotte gets by someone, she'll quickly get to a nice euro-step, spin or hop-step to get different looks at the rim, all while avoiding those that take on the help position. There's a fair share of finesse combined with heaps of power in her takes which make her such a demanding cover. Theriault can be an overwhelming talent that exploits the flaws in the defense and forges baskets after inventing emphatic drives that many aren't adept in.
