[player_tooltip player_id='897434' first='Mia' last='McKenzie'] has a lot of potential out of the court for her age. McKenzie is still only in 8th grade and she already stands at around 6'0. At this height, she doesn't only do well by the hoop with her natural size advantage, she also shows a lot of guard like tendencies in her actions. Not to mention that this is a multiple sport athlete, that excels in a lot of other things as well, speaking to her competitive nature while doing anything. With all of the things I mentioned above, her coordinated skill-set, and her positive attitude, she should thrive over her next four years. Wherever that may be.

From the looks of it, [player_tooltip player_id='899462' first='Leyton' last='Michaelis'] is a skilled athlete, that is ahead of her time on the softball diamond. Michaelis, like in softball, is a hustler out on the basketball court with her keep it simple strategy. When prospects are young, they tend to over reach and try to do too much, too soon. Not in Michaelis' case. She keeps things in front of her in real time, whether that be team or individual concepts, and she applies those things to her game to help her out. If you want to be the best version of yourself, you need to be a student of the game and I do believe that Michaelis is that. She just has to focus on the correct things and the rest could be history.

[player_tooltip player_id='897361' first='Ella' last='Huskey'] has demonstrated over the past couple of years that she is going to be someone to know throughout her high school career. Huskey will come in as a Freshman to Weeping Water High School at just over 5'0, competing mainly at the SG position up until this point in her career. When Huskey is shooting the ball she makes sure to always be balanced off of two feet, making it the best attempt she can at the basket. Her quick trigger and thought process definitely make her someone to keep an eye on moving into this Spring with her [program_tooltip program_id='712709' first='Nebraska' last='Attack'] program.

Someone that I have really enjoyed watching compete over the past year is SG, [player_tooltip player_id='899509' first='Kinlee' last='Anderson'] of OSA out of Omaha. Anderson, a 5'9 SG, is a lefty that understands her role and what she can do best on the floor. Offensively, it doesn't take much for her to see an opening, making the most of it with her smooth looking pull up from either the mid-range or from deep behind the arc. Defensively, with her lengthy arms and quick first step, she can move quickly between several spots. In high school she will have the chance to guard the 1-3 or even the 4 if she works hard enough physically in the paint. That's going to fair well for her improvement individually and it will also help the team as well. Hitting two birds with one stone in the process.
