Our first look at the Millard North standout freshman was a good one, as she poured in 21 points and grabbed six rebounds in the. loss to Pender. She did most of her work in the Showcase slashing to the basket as she made 9-of-15 field goals and shot just one 3-point shot. McKenzie is averaging nearly 20 points an outing and is shooting 55% from the field on the season and over 73% from the line. As McKenzie develops her outside shooting, she may become an impossible player to guard.

was a name we were familiar with this past Spring but she has really shown her worth over the past few months with her Mustangs program. McKenzie is currently starting and producing some of the best numbers throughout the state overall. When you are looking at a versatile SG/CG with size, pace, and skill – McKenzie stands out. She comes in at 6’0 and from the looks of it, she seems to be growing every few months, making her an even tougher matchup for opposing programs. This is a player to note moving forward. She can actively make things happen out of thin air on both sides of the ball, which should help her continue to stand-out as she progresses over her career.

of Millard North. McKenzie is a guard-like prospect, that happens to move REALLY well at 6’0. She is a player that can be used in a number of different ways on both sides of the ball, depending on what is being asked of her from her coaching staff. McKenzie is a Varsity player right away with the Mustangs this Winter. She could even lead them in multiple statistical categories if given the opportunity.

Millard North started 3 freshman this Summer at shootouts. If they stick to that type of system moving into Winter,

will be prospect that is competing on the varsity floor a good amount throughout the season as she continues to grow. McKenzie has a great feel for the game at 6’0. She has has better than average body control near the bucket and she is a tough competitor to stay in front of with her physicality. She can attack from the blocks and counter if need be while also being a constant rebounder on both ends. There is a lot to like out of this young Millard North group. They are going to be relevant for the upcoming years throughout the state of Nebraska as long as they work hard in the off-seasons.

at the CG position. McKenzie comes into high school at an agile 6’0 with a high amount of skill. She is already making her name known by totally holding serve in the scoring and rebounding categories of the game. We mentioned McKenzie earlier this week as someone out of the 2029 Class to know. If she just plays to her strengths, she is going to be someone we hear about for years to come.”

would be a name that you should have marked down by now. McKenzie stands at 6’0 and every time I see her compete, she is looking more and more experienced with her guard skill-set. She is always moving effortlessly for her height, she understands to hurry down the floor into open space for looks in transition, she can produce in a half court offense, and she works relentlessly on defense. I’m not sure where McKenzie will be going high school but wherever that is, I’m sure she will be seeing some Varsity time before you know it. She has been raising some eye-brows this Spring so far and it’s only just the beginning for her.

has a lot of potential out of the court for her age. McKenzie is still only in 8th grade and she already stands at around 6’0. At this height, she doesn’t only do well by the hoop with her natural size advantage, she also shows a lot of guard like tendencies in her actions. Not to mention that this is a multiple sport athlete, that excels in a lot of other things as well, speaking to her competitive nature while doing anything. With all of the things I mentioned above, her coordinated skill-set, and her positive attitude, she should thrive over her next four years. Wherever that may be.
