She shoots extremely well from behind the arc. Haymond plays with exceptional energy on both ends of the court. Defensively, she is confident in stopping any ball handler! East Fairmont is one of the top 3A teams because of their unselfish play. Yes, she is considered extremely special! She is a highly skilled athlete that is one of the few athletes that can create offense for herself! She's unique in her combination of scoring and her playmaking ability. She's crafty around the rim. She has an extremely high basketball IQ! I love her overall skill set. The senior holds numerous offers to play at the next level. She has picked up offers from Marian University, Wilmington College, &amp; more. Makaela is one of the most deserving athletes! She plays so much bigger and stronger! She holds her own against athletes that are taller than her. She's a fundamentally sound athlete that does a great job of doing whatever is needed for her team to win! The Charleston news stated that, "Sissonville's still sizzling." This comes at no surprise with the numbers that Rilee continues to put up on a nightly basis. She recently netted 22 points and added 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 7 steals in a win over Parkersburg South. She is one of the best two way players in the state! Yes, she can score in numerous ways. I love her defensive intensity! She uses her length exceptionally well to disrupt passes. She rebounds exceptionally well. She has put up numerous double-doubles this season! Vance is! She scores a large portion of her points off of her steals. Vance is extremely quick. She has great hands and she will pressure the ball! Her defensive prowess is top-notch! Auerbach once stated, "Defense is just hard work. There will be nights when your shots won't fall, but you can play good defense every night."
