TN, Let the Games Begin

The first game I watched was the game of the cross town rivals, Anderson County vs Clinton! Anderson County won 45-40. She won't pick up 2 steals from the first quarter in the stat column, but she forced the 2 turnovers! She does an incredible job defensively. She has her hands on the ball more than anyone! She continues to fill up an entire stat sheet. Gamble is the athlete that disrupts the other team's rhythm. She disrupted Anderson County the entire game. Offensively, Addi did a great job attacking the rim. She was able to get to the line on numerous occasions. Basford does a great job around the rim. She has a nice, soft touch that she showcased in the second half. Offensively, she can also stretch the floor. She scored 5 fast points in the 3rd quarter! Macy is one of the most underrated athletes in the class of '26! Moody was stellar! She had 13 points at the half. She had 18 points total. She was the offensive threat that Clinton needed. She scored at the rim and she was knocking down big time outside shots! Josie has great size and length. She did a great job getting rebounds on both sides of the court. I loved the offensive rebounds that she picked up for her team! She knocked down two long balls in the second quarter. She was the first to score to start the second half. Offensively, she does a great job at getting open. She finished in double digits scoring. One of my favorite plays by Kelly was when she made the beautiful step through in the first half! In order for Anderson County to win the region, they will need Shelby's senior leadership and a big time performance!
