Holiday Tournaments, Livestream coverage of regular season and playoff games, and of, course the Simmie Colson Classic gave me a good look at several players already on the list, as well as spotting tidbits via social media but one more time, the best way to be evaluated is IN FRONT OF ME and if that doesn't register or matters, you have no complaint because I don't say what I don't see, it's too much of that going on but here ya go

Martin has taken her game to another level, and her "on the court" improvement was one of many pluses for her Summer Creek High School team, which won state this season. Trying to guard her has become a bigger problem as she attacks and finishes powerfully off the dribble yet her "stop and pop" jumper in transition also shot up. Her defense in the set as well as baseline-to-baseline also improved

Maley stands above "the magic number" yet she has become more athletic on both ends and she's also long, placing her in that category I call "THE BASE" but her timing to block, alter and (or) deflect shots was impressive, as well as her midrange jumper and rebounding yet what did it for me was her maneuvering around the basket to score with ease. Hands and footwork, coupled with the "drop step" dropped the mic

Chatman continues to show she can put up numbers multiple ways, she went over the 1000-point mark in her sophomore season but when you factor in her ability to overpower players using her college-ready frame, you sort of get the picture but her scoring inside the paint, off the dribble as well as mid to long-range makes her hard to defend

Cramer showed me how much she elevated her game at the Sandra Meadows Classic as well as during the playoffs see evaluations here yet what I saw in PERSON at the Simmie Colson Classic showed me she's ready for an interesting club season. Her poise under pressure handling the ball and seeing the floor was nice but her setting the defender up to attack as well as dropping the jumper was not only crafty but effective

Massey is "long and athletic" Yep, it's still the base, and ironically the first time I had a chance to see her was in 2022 in the Simmie Colson Classic see evaluation here. She played a huge part in her Boswell team winning the UIL 6A Division 2 State Championship and was named MVP I love her upside, she can blow by defenders off the dribble in the set, rebound on both ends, and defend both in and outside the paint yet her playing the passing lane is something I love seeing players do
